FSU files for exit from ACC

Why do you keep dodging the 2015-16 canceled series where UGA chickened out?
What is there to dodge? Yes, we canceled the series with you. I've read that it was mutual, but for the sake of argument let's say we unilaterally cancelled it. So what, it wasn't that we were "afraid of you." As I said above, FCS teams, Kent State, even UT Martin put up better fights than you pussies. And, hell, Autzen is a bucket list item for me. I would have gone so I was disappointed. So, I am not dodging shit. I have shown you that we have a top 5 OOC, while you guys don't have shit lined up.

The one dodging is you. I had to post your crappy OOC schedule because you were embarrassed to do so. Take the L and move on.

Bullshit.

LOL, you really think with the OOC schedule I posted we were "scared" of you?

My guess is the reason was we wanted 7 home games to make more money. And a strategic shift under our then AD. But who cares, let's say we did that to dodge you because you are so scary and were so good you won all the natties right around then - oh, wait.

Pretty sure with our OOC in the past and future, compared to you, there is one team not afraid to play onyone anywhere. It isn't you pussies.

Backed out vs Oregon
Backed out vs Oklahoma

Only a matter of time before you back out of more games

Your trolling has gotten old. I put up with it for a while because you are so wrong, but I have better things to do.

Sake of argument, we backed out of our series with you, then beat the fuck out of you 49-3 ... LOL. Feel better?
SEC canceled the OU and TX series. We get them every other year starting next year.

Goodness, you have to be black and blue with the beatdown you just took. See you, dimwit!

FWIW, I am confident some of the future games will be canceled. With the B1G adding 4 new teams - you guys at a cut-rate (what's it like to be poor?), us adding OU and TX and likely going to 9 IC games in the future, some of our OOC games will get canceled. The funny thing is once we cancel a few of those we will still have a tougher OOC than you. Owned you again.

Good to see you are already preparing the excuses for some additional scaredy-cat scheduling.

Yeah, I am smart enough to understand that when two conferences add a bunch of teams and 1 conference goes from 8 IC to 9 IC, we literally have to drop an OOC game because we have 4 already scheduled. I know you aren't good with math, but 9+4 = 13 and we only play 12 regular season games. So, we will have to drop one.

I will be interested to see who we drop. My guess is we will keep Ga Tech (obvious), keep a cupcake, and in the year that we have two other P5 teams we will drop one of them. I hope we keep the better teams like tOSU, etc. We have about 8 games with Clemson, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a few of them go when we have 3 P5 games in a season.

Someone dumb like you acts like a 3rd grader and says, "oh, you are scared" when it is something that mathematically has to happen.

Whoever we schedule in the future, I hope they are a quality opponent, not one that can't score a touchdown and gives up 49 points. We want a real challenge, not some pussy team.

Dude, your OOC has 2 cupcakes and then some marginal P5s. Are you that delusional? What a moron.

Starting to think TCUs beat down is partly why FSU was held out.

No matter how you slice this, this is awful. Take the committee out and go back to the BCS system of ranking and allow that to decide the top X number of teams for the playoffs. This is a shameful travesty.

It won't matter next year. Basically, the P4 Conference winners, plus 1 G5 conference winner, are automatically in - that takes care of the FSU situation. Then there will be 7 at-large teams which this year would include UGA, tOSU, Oregon, and 4 others. No one cares who the 13th place team is that gets left out. They will have lost 2-3 games and that's tough luck.

Interestingly, if the BCS computer rankings were used FSU would have gotten in but so would have Alabama, but Texas would have been left out. In other words, the BCS is just as capable as the Committee of getting it wrong, if you think that is wrong.

This sounds better than what it really is. You make it sound like the top SEC teams were beaten by ACC teams. Are you aware that most of the SEC losses involved South Carolina twice, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, and Florida? You think that shit sounds impressive? That is like bragging about beating Colorado.

Those are the teams that teams like Ole miss and Tennessee beat to get ranked. Which gives Bama their ranked wins and tough schedule

ACC was 6-4 against SEC this year. FSU 2-0
Alabama was 9-0 against the SEC, including a win over UGA. Hell, Kentucky beat one of your CCG participants ...

I dont think that is wrong. Or at least not nearly on par with what happened to FSU.

Back in the BCS days and Auburn being out, that's just how the cookie crumbled since there were only 2 spots. This is an actual screw job.

So much for those that think it should stay at 4. This scenario shows that's a bad idea

Bama lost at home. But that doesn’t count right? We beat everyone we were supposed to. Yes including 2 SEC teams.

Big 10s best OOC win was Notre Dame by a few points. Louisville killed them

2nd best was West Virginia or UNLV I’ll let you pick

SECE was worse than the West. The only conference worse than the SECE was the ... checks, the ACC.

Conference rankings are about half way down: College Football Ratings Page

That’s BS. The best OOC win for the big 10 was Notre Dame. 2nd best was West Virginia or UNLV

That conference has a lot of trash. If Clemson plays Penn St schedule they have the same record

The math never worked. Rather there be a few that shouldn't get into a 12 team, than deserving teams be left out.

I am just saying that if an entire conference can brag about being 6-4 against the SEC and use that as a talking point for playoff consideration, how much more impressive is a single team going 9-0 against the very same conference including a win against Georgia? I mean, apples to apples and all ...
