I don’t think that’s being talked about enough. They will have a massive crowd advantage in both games. Huge advantage for them and they are gonna be tough to beat.

they will have massive crowd advantages because this is the first time we ever been to the CFP.. We always travel strong

I’m interested to see the crowd breakdown in Pasadena. Bama has been in these games so much our fans have kinda scaled back the last few years but the Hunger is back in our fan base this year. So I hope it’s 50/50.

But Texas does travel strong. In 09 in was Bama’s first time in like 17 years and Texas had just been there a couple of years earlier and that crowd IMO was still 55/45 Texas

They had a virtual home game for the RRS, too

I know the committee is looking for a rematch between Bama and UT, so I'll be quietly pulling for UM and UDub

This is not true.. I think Norman is 5 miles closer than Austin to Dallas.

This whole thread is dumb.. New Orleans is like an 8 hour drive. It’s closer than Washington, but both teams are flying to get there..

Lmao. Unreal. Bama has played 8 CFP games in the states of Florida, Texas, Louisiana and Georgia. If anyone has a "home field" advantage, it has historically been Bama and the SEC.

This wasn’t meant as a slight at all

It's not really about the mileage, it's about home state.

Pretty lame that UW goes in the higher seed but is the team that has to travel all the way across the continental US about it.

Really hope we get to the point where we aren’t tied to bowls for playoff games. Especially with an expanded more legitimate playoff on the horizon. It’s currently really dumb.

Honestly, that's what I really like about UM vs Bama in the Rose -- neither team will have a significant advantage in terms of location

That game needs to be Indianapolis

No way I was there and if anything OU had a few more fans.

* 1 Home game

Good. BAMA doesn't belong anyway.

Lmao. We turned the Rose Bowl orange Teo years in a row, once against an L.A. school. STFU.
We have an advantage cuz we have a giant cock. Fuck geography.
