Texas basically will have 2 home games in Playoffs

deal with it GIF

BTW how is a potential CFP final with UT playing home field advantage? I was told that UH owned the city of Houston and the TV sets

Pretty lame that UW goes in the higher seed but is the team that has to travel all the way across the continental US about it.
did you want them to put the #1 seed Michigan in Bama’s home Bowl?

Is traveling to LA and different than traveling to L.A.?

It’s still a plane ride and hotel rooms en sech

It’s a longer plane ride through a couple time zones, and it’s an easier trip for the Texas fanbase.

No, it shouldn’t affect the team getting there several days before to adjust. But if you can’t acknowledge that the current system being set up in a way that can give the higher seeded team less favorable travel in general is a little fucky, more power to you I guess.

What’s your solution? Home games?
Waiting until the CFP results come out, then picking a stadium from those that don’t have something already scheduled … so none of them of note?

FYI, you could schedule the game in Vancouver with one week’s notice, and it’d still be 60% burnt orange.

With the expanded playoff yes, I’d vote for doing away with bowls being part of it all together. Let the higher seed host, championship game neutral.

You can make a pretty good argument that Texas should be the favorite to win the national championship.

Lmao. We turned the Rose Bowl orange Teo years in a row, once against an L.A. school. STFU.
We have an advantage cuz we have a giant cock. Fuck geography.
It wasn’t meant as a slight or a dig. Don’t take it as one.

It was an observation…like Bama in 2017 and LSU in 19

Go ahead…
Well for one they have already beaten Alabama, no reason to think they can’t do it again,
They have a better quarterback than Bo Nix, and Washington struggles to beat him so …
I don’t think anybody completely buys into Michigan they are a slow team and haven’t been the same. since they were caught cheating so …. Texas may well be the favorite.

Lmao. Unreal. Bama has played 8 CFP games in the states of Florida, Texas, Louisiana and Georgia. If anyone has a "home field" advantage, it has historically been Bama and the SEC.

Two of those were playing Georgia in Atlanta and two more were playing Clemson in Tampa and New Orleans. Those don't really seem like much of a home field advantage. Even Cincinatti in Dallas seems lke a reach, Cincinatti is an air hub, Birmingham is not.
