Is this the first year…

Lol he thinks McCord was legit

Now in the portal. Wonder why?

Of course the Michigan fans wanted McCord to stick around, he'd be their best QB in the game next year.

McCord's overall numbers are incredibly mundane for a QB with the elite weapons he had in 2023.

I do feel bad for FSU. I'd much rather be playing FSU than playing Bama. FSU definitely should have had a spot, but your backup QB is a disaster.

That was our 3rd string QB true freshman against Louisville. Back up beat Florida in swamp by double digits and would have been back.

I would love to play Michigan.

Duke was good early this year. Point is the Big 10 is garbage and y’all’s schedule was a joke.

The best OOC win for the big 10 all year was Notre Dame. Go look at who you played all year.

No wonder you never had a lead vs TCU last year. You’ll probably be winning 3-0 at halftime this year.
Just so I get this straight -- UM 'never had a lead' last year because the B1G is garbage this year.

Hey maybe he goes to Michigan. Would be good for you.

Or is he more Chattanooga material?

Did you just brag about beating Florida and a QB going 12/26 for 130 yards?

Sucks for FSU fans, but how unbelievably bad your backup QB's are -- that is the reason you aren't in the CFP.

Yes. And don’t get all ass sore and hyperbolic about it. Again, it’s not like some big “fix” or conspiracy. But they clearly have everything they need in their list of criteria to justify putting whatever matchups they want in the final 4 any given year. As soon as Alabama won it was painfully clear which way the final rankings were gonna go when every single analyst started talking about Florida state being left out, including the commentators on the ACC game.

With my team being in the playoff I’m actually glad Alabama is in to avoid all the cries of asterisk year with no SEC team. But let’s not pretend that FSU didn’t get screwed to keep the SEC involved, or that the committee didn’t make the safe bet and it took some kind of balls to drop Florida state out.
So basically the playoff committee is a farce and all of them that served have no credibility or integrity?

He will probably end up at like a Pitt or Purdue type school. He's not national title caliber so i'd be shocked to see him on any team that deems itself a real contender.

Way you are talking about Jordan Travis -- he should go to FSU. He'd be an upgrade.

Louisville also smoked Notre Dame who y’all barely beat. And that’s the best OOC win for the entire big 10. 2nd best is West Virginia by Penn St or maybe UNLV by Michigan

Lmao

If Clemson plays Penn St’s schedule they have the same record.
The same Clemson that got handled by NC State (slaughtered by ND at home), beat all the way down by Duke (beaten by ND at home), and Miami (perennial trash)? Nah, they're in the only conference that's letting them get to even 8 wins. They barely squeaked by SCar and they aren't even going to a bowl game LOL. The ACC is trash this year and it's largely why their unbeaten conference champ isn't in the CFP.

Finally a neutral site game so Harbaugh can showcase his team against Bama. Should be a good game.
It should be a very good game. I hate running QB's, but hopefully we get the Milroe who wants to throw some picks and not the Milroe who is throwing dimes.

Basically, this year they deviated from justifications given in past years and ultimately leaned on criteria that shouldn’t be available to them.

But it is and they made their call. I’m just not going to pretend it was all about FSU having a hurt quarterback and not blowing out Louisville.

Talk from the OSU insiders is NC State is giving Kyle a lot of attention. Seems about his right type of school. Much easier schedule next year, expectations will be significantly lower.

Who beats Clemson then with Penn St schedule this year?

Lmao

Delaware?
Illinois?
Sparty?
Rutgers?
Maryland?
IU?
UMass?
Iowa?
West Virginia?

Yeah ok

Yeah
See teams in bold, in obvious addition to OSU and michigan.

Clemson beat Notre Dame by more than OSU. Those teams Penn St played are all trash. Maybe Iowa Clemson is a 3-0 game. Clemson D was plenty good. They still have a lot of talent just not at QB. Sound familiar?

Cmon the big 10 was trash just like your QB.

We agree they deviated.

My argument is that they picked the best 4 teams as they stand right now.

Your contention is they picked Alabama because they couldn’t leave out the SEC & money so the committee members would have been complicit in that if true.

Now what makes more sense? A honest assessment of teams or let’s throw everything out the window just to get Bama in? Which would include their reputations by the way.

Clemson beat 2 ranked teams and Penn St beat Iowa. Oh and PSU beat West Virginia

:L top 10 tho

I'm still confused. If McCord was trash and he put up better numbers than Travis -- are you saying Travis was trashier?
