Only ones I went to were the last gig and were at the attorney's mansion during work hours. It was a 2 minute drive from work, so it wasn't bad. The others have all been at fancy places 30 to 45 minutes away on a Saturday night. Usually college championship game weekend for football. Screw that!

I think DUI laws are way too strict and have gotten out of hand and .08 is a joke. Personally, I think you should be able to take the driving test at different BAC levels and if you pass, that’s your personal limit. I guarantee you I could pass at more than triple the legal limit. But, with that said, I don’t wanna pay a bunch of money and attend a bunch of stupid meetings because Barney Fife needs to feel important

impairment starts at the first drink.

the question isn't passing a driving test, it's reaction time when drunk vs reaction time when sober. If you could hit the brakes half a second sooner when sober to avoid an accident, then you're a fucking idiot for driving with even a single drink in your body.

How about this... If you know you're going to be drinking, be a responsible person and don't fucking drive.

so the legal limit of .08 is working. This is what you should do if you're thinking about drinking while out.

Driving is like pool or darts, I’m better at it after a few drinks, and I’m a damn good driver when sober.

I do. I don’t like it, but I’m not gonna ruin my life because I think a law is stupid. I mean, I’m probably over the limit every morning for the drive to work, but some things are just gonna have to happen

Not only is this false, but it's false for the same reason you feel like you're better at pool and darts when you're drinking. It gives you tunnel vision. And that's perfectly fine if you're the only person on the road. But having tunnel vision is a bad thing for driving... so are the affects on your reaction time which doesn't come into play when shooting darts or pool.

Every single person needs to do that same thing.

Wife recently had jury duty and every single trial she went through selection was for a DUI. I'd love to be on one of those juries, but they'd never choose me. When asked if there was any reason why she couldn't be impartial or if either side would object to her, she raised her hand and was excused. I'd have to do the same, but hope the defendant has the book thrown at them.

Nah, you owe it to yourself. I don’t drink and drive because I don’t want my life to be ruined if some meth head stumbles in front of my truck. I’m not saying the law doesn’t work. It does. If I drink anything and I don’t have a ride, I’m staying where I’m at until the morning.

I don’t care what the trial is for, I’m not ever being selected for a jury. I’ve had jury duty twice, both times I wore the most grease covered pair of overalls and shirt I had and never even made it to the selection process before being told I could leave

I've fallen asleep a few times in ubers. late night or early morning flights will do that.

End result is the same regardless of reasoning.

Now open container laws on the other hand are retarded and I break that stupid law pretty much anytime I’m a passenger in a vehicle
