Let's go! The quest to 20 wins without a Q1 win remains in tact!
Sweet, sweet memories unless you’re a Wildcat fan. When I was younger I went to some games at Cole Fieldhouse and it was unreal.
Apparently Maryland is 121 in the NET
Ive said all year they look like shit cause they have no shooters but jesus christ
Thats a team with solid talent that is going to be a bona fide Q3 game.
Yeah, it's surprising how bad they've looked. That's what sucks because they played like shit OOC, and now have terrible metrics but they are dangerous. It'd be another Q3 loss if we lose it.
Yeah a lot of people around here are getting really hyped and I have to tell buddies to just enjoy the fact this team is waaaaaaaaaay more competitive then expected. Because to really feel good about a tourney bid 12 wins is almost certainly gonna be needed. So many dont understand the metrics. My buddy just sees Maryland and thinks "we got another beatable team for a another good win". No.
All of Gopher twitter last night was going off about getting a huge Q1 win. Not realizing how this shit works and that by beating michigan on their home floor that would kill their NET. They dropped 10 spots to 84 and seeing how disinterested(and imo how much they hate playing with each other) that team is, gonna be tough for them to climb back.
Gotta just enjoy the fact way more wins than were expected should be coming
Yeah, this has been a pleasant surprise. Coupled with the B1G being down, there's a chance to get a bunch of wins. For tournament purposes though, we need something of quality. And our NET needs to be a lot better too. To even feel comfortable, we gotta get in the top 65 at least. Probably top 60, if that.
Wisconsin is easily the biggest game of the year. That team at home is very winnable. And its certain to be Q1
we are on a list???Agreed. Wisconsin and OSU at home, and Nebraska and NW away. Those are the 4 I have circled.
