One of my coworkers here graduated from Alabama. Boss was like, I didn't know that, to which I said you couldn't tell from the haircut. It landed well.

Saw a friend from PA that moved down here like a decade ago, guy sounds like Nick Cage in Conair, fucking ridiculous, but hilarious to me.

It’s all about your net total. I have friends who gamble just to gamble and their net total acts more like a stock going up and down regularly.

I’m a finance guy, who sits here and crunches numbers, and treats it like a business rather than a hobby. I won’t brag about how much I win but let’s just say I’m doing better than some bartenders out there.

As I was watching the eagles lose gloriously to the giants last week, I threw $100 on the bucs to win the next week. That's how it's done.

Just fuck around and have fun with it. And yes, I'm up overall.
 
If you have the bears and vikings out there, I would figure you have them play the lions and packers, no?

I’m too analytical to bet on whims.

I do stuff like look at the spread in the 4th quarter of an NBA game, loosely decide on how many possessions each team has left, factor in how much time is left in the clock, then lock in if I decide that the losing team has a small % chance to make up those points based on how much time if left on the clock and how many possessions I think they’ll have left.

You get a good 12.5 or 14.5 spread w 8 or 9 minutes left and it’s all gravy.

I put Jalen Duren into a few preseason bets for Rebounds per game leader. He was going off at like +1400, if that dude could have been healthier this year.

I'd laugh, but it's -15 out and somehow getting colder by the hour. Wind is howlin'. It didn't snow last nite at all, yet I still shoveled 6 inches this morning. Total whiteout out there driving. Everything is covered with snow, so there's no points of reference. Drifts fuggin' everywhere and you can't see 'em fer shit.
