Nebraska vs Wisconsin thread

Wouldn't surprise me at this point.

They will just have to run the Wildcat the entire game. Just make sure they have a RB who can throw 10 yards a few times.

Would suck. No room in the schedules to make up any games.

I guess the the with ultra-conservative covid stipulations some of the schools insisted on, it's to be expected.

Groschek(sp) was a QB in high school. Possibility. Of course, if the D doesn't let Nebraska score...

If the talk about cancellation is because of the QBs, this is ridiculous. I remember a few years ago where Maryland had 4 QBs go down from injury and ended up fielding a LB in that spot. No excuse.

If it is because Wisconsin breached the "allowable threshold" and has to shutdown the team for 3 weeks... then it doesn't really matter. No ability to make up games, this is just more testament that Warren deserves to be fired. The season could have continued on as originally scheduled and have had room to make up games. He has known since March that this may be a thing and completely failed to prepare accordingly. We all knew there would be issues, every conference has had them, but for the conference to set the schools up for failure is pathetic and deserving of firing.

Danny VandeBoom has been named stater for Wisconsin. 28-0 with 2 state titles in high school(Kimberly in Wisconsin)

IIRC, in one of Artie Boy Briles' last Baylor teams they went through four of 'em and ended up running the old single wing toward the end of the year.

Huskers should only lose by two TD's now. Things are looking up for them.

Looked at the odds. Nebraska +3 looks like I should mortgage the house

Jesus, it's down to 3 already? Line opened at 11.5, obviously before anyone knew about Mertz. That's crazy Mertz is worth that many points.

And he absolutely whipped whatever school faced him in the bowl game that season with a RB as QB.

You would think the BIG with it's late start would have learned from the other conferences..

Spotting the Huskers 3 QBs. This is their big chance.
No shit.

I didn't know the B1G COVID policy until this hit the news and it's complete bullshit. I mean their protocol is grossly over-designed and will make it nearly impossible for you guys to finish a season that is worth a shit. I suspect this is because the powers that be didn't really want a season anyway so they designed to have a high probability to fail so they could say they were right.

I'm so glad I'm an SEC guy and don't have to deal with this crap.
