My Mom used to buy Bubble Up way back when, because it was cheaper. But I started sneaking drinks of it all the time and she decided to switch to Bubble Up Diet! That stopped me... couldn't drink those diet sodas! BLECH!!

I like Fresca but it's really not the same product. No grapefruit at all in Sprite or 7Up I don't believe.

I have been type 1 diabetic since I was a little kid so I can only speak about those versions. But this is the pecking order around here including the house brands sold at Canadian supermarkets.

But I've never really thought about Sprite -vs- 7Up.
I guess it's that, if I want a Coke, I'll get a Coke.

I think it's pretty exclusively a hillbilly drink - ok, Hillbillies and Hillbilly-adjacent.
in PA we had A-treat... can't remember if there was a lemon/lime version of that because we normally got cream soda or black cherry
