I was bit by something about a week and a half ago and it still hurts and doesn't seem to be getting better fast enough...does that warrant an urgent care visit? I haven't picked a new GP since I fucked off the last "getting to know you" appointment.
It’s either that or just wait around in a hospital parking lot and asking people who look like doctors (think Indian or Chinese) what they think about it. Hang out wherever they charge the Teslas.

hmm... wonder if the Home Depot Homies could sub. Prolly a lot cheaper and similar results.

Of course, if i ask one, 4 more will come over and say they are his crew and need to chime in, too so there go my savings.

What have you treated it with?

Could be a spider bite.

How does Urgent Care work? Is it like low priority ER?
Alls I know is the last time I went was like 10 years ago and I had a terrible ear infection. Could barely walk and was working out of town. Get some drops in my ear and a prescription, have a bunch of cash on me since I’d cleaned up in poker and forgot to put my winnings in my safe, ask if I owe anything, they say no, my insurance covered it, then I got a bill for 400 bucks so I had to mail a check instead of just paying cash on the spot. Last time I went to the doctor for anything other than required DOT and work physicals

Soap & water, neosporin. I was going to do a baking soda poultice, but the last time I did that, i got a chemical burn. So i did it this morning and i think i either got burned again or it reactivated the poison oozing out.

Most certainly. A big ass one, too. Lucky for me, I was drunk AF so the dumb ass spider prolly got alcohol poisoning for that tasty bit.

fuggin stupid ass insurance fucks. that's what will probably end up happening to me. but if they charge me a bunch of money today, that means i'm closer to meeting my deductible, right? Hmmm... this might be the way to go. I want to do some chiropractic & possibly acupuncture stuff this year.

You need someone to come over and suck the poison out...

whassit look like?
well, i first noticed it the next day but was still kinda tipsy and in a rush to get somewhere and thought it was a scrape or something. then the next day, I looked at it because it was still bugging and it was about a 2" long water blister, just puffed the fuck up and filled with liquid. then on monday or something, my friends that were over said that one of them got poison oak and I was like, "hmm...maybe...but oh, nevermind, this happened before he was exposed to PO". So I just let it go. It stayed puffy for a few days then my pants rubbed against it and made it burst so I washed it and put some neosporin on it when i got home from work that day. It's been red and had a little bit of a fever the whole time and I can feel kind of a hardness about 3" around it. There's a fairly significant (to me) hole in the center that's kind of scabby and dry skin on the other bits. It's still red and the pain is radiating towards the back of my knee a little. Not terrible, but there.

The water blister kinda sounds like a brown recluse, but I don't think you guys get those there? I don't know that there is anything they can do for those anyway, other than cosmetic help.

You guys prolly got all kinds of shit. That's why I live where it gets -30.
