That's certainly a take that isn't rooted in anything. The deal was made before the SEC tourney even, so it still would be an issue.

This is baseball, not football. Recruiting and coaching in this sport is completely different, and you are talking like this is football. Prior success doesn't mean jack shit in baseball, it all comes down to the talent you can field. You don't get time in baseball to develop talent, it's got to be walking in the door.

It was because of ME that there was even a College Baseball Forum created on Euro-Hoop back in the day. I begged Ghost to create one and he finally caved.

My family's had CWS season tickets for over 40 years. The pain was tremendous when Van Horn left Nebraska for Arkansas. But we all understood because Arky was his alma mater and momma came calling.

But an A&M fan who's team has never won the CWS, finally made runner up, and couldn't keep their coach are the experts.

LOL. Your family went to games. I played in them, I coach them, and my kid is PG ranked in the state of TX for class of 2029. I've coached him to offers to play on international travel teams and was an alternate on the 12u Team USA team.

They didn't "settle" on Earley, that was the guy they wanted and the guy the team wanted. The team was done with Schloss because he's an asshole. That info is now out there, and he won't be able to recruit the way he did previously. There will still be a lot of lesser players who still want to wear the burnt orange, but they won't get the players he's used to getting.

Schloss will be <.500 next year and your fans will freak the fuck out.

Because USC couldn't recruit that talent around them.

Pierce was a great coach right up until he had a bad year and was run out of town. It's the Jexas way, and Schloss is going to find that out. His only hope was to steal away the A&M players that already knew how to win in the SEC. When that plan blew up in his face, he's now completely fucked.

I'm on cloud 9. We got our entire team back, the guy who built the team, experienced assistants who know baseball and the SEC around him, AND the top portal player who happened to play the position we had a hole. On top of that we are about to announce top arms who are defecting to A&M.

Our team is going to somehow be better than it was, even after losing Monty.

The emotional ones are the ones who spike the ball too early.
