What's your phobia?

Liberals :crazy:…. Seriously Claustrophobia I’d say it’s being trapped in a confined space
Yeah this. The idea of being in a confined space and not able to get out sends me into a panic mode (oddly enough not in elevators though). I want them to harvest my organs (the ones you’d need to live) when I die just in case they got it wrong and I was just in a coma and I wake up in a box 6 ft underground.

I feel like this thread is a trap....or is that my phobia?

I guess I get nervous with heights when I don't feel secure enough. But I'm not bothered by elevators or hiking the mountains. Depths sometimes bother me, like when swimming in the ocean.

Dead bodies are hi on my list. Human and animal.

Wouldn't say I'm afraid of rats and spiders and snakes, but I don't like being startled by finding one unexpectedly. Even a dead one.
Yeah... If I'm enclosed, like in those big flying metal tubes, I don't get queasy looking out the windows at 30,000+ feet.

But I AIN'T gonna step too close to the edge of a cliff 100 feet up with NO railings. Not gonna stand on the edge of a 2 story rooftop either.

As for claustrophobia, I hate not having room to move around in. I remember the earlier MRIs that were LONG metal tubes they slid you into so you could listen to all that clanking going on. They had to give me a sedative.

Now they're more open-design, so you don't get that cramped feeling. I don't have to get a sedative anymore. But the "clanking" is still there! :heh:

I had an MRI recently and the machine was still like a coffin. I just closed my eyes and did some deep breathing, until the machine started yelling at me: "STOP BREATHING!"

Had more MRIs and CTs than I care to mention.

I don’t mind them though….I coulda been in Hogan’s Heroes or a submariner or some shits.

The only unpleasant scan was the PET scan…but that’s only because I WAS CATHETERED WHILE FULLY AWAKE.

Up until last year, I had only ever had a couple scans or MRI's, now I get em every few months.

What was your poison, again?

Well….I’ve had spinal taps, appendectomy, gall bladder-ectomy, liver biopsy, b-cell lymphoma (Stage IV), and currently Squamous Cell Carcinoma.

Stay healthy kids, or die trying.

Dang, I feel like a real chump for only having clear cell carcinoma

You wouldn’t last as a miner.

He doesn't last long with minors either.
