His hypothetical was that China was down 2 golds and should win 5, so will likely end up with 30(don't feel like double checking the vid/math here), so they might pass the US at some point in the next day or two, but the US had 9 medals they *should* win and *should* end up with 37, and even if they don't win all of them, it would be enough of a cushion to ensure that they keep their streak of most summer golds going. The hypothetical example that I should have given to show the point that I was trying to make is if there are 10 events and A wins every single simulation of one event and never wins any of the sims of the other 9 events while B is the second most frequent winner in the sims of each of the 9 other events Team A will be favoured/predicted by the sims to win 1 event while Team B will be favoured/predicted to win zero. But Team B will probably actually end up winning more events than Team A in almost every set of 10 event sims.
(edit: I didn't make it clear initially but of course there are teams other than A and B competing/winning in this exercise/these sims)
The name of the country. What was wrong?
And didn’t even look like she was trying hard. She won by 20 meters.McLaughlin-Levrone absolutely destroyed the field in that 400 W Hurdles

Yeah . They just confirmed he has COVID.
Ummm, yeah.Lyles just said he was checked two days ago and was positive.
Syd- NEEEEEAnd didn’t even look like she was trying hard. She won by 20 meters.
Yeah. I misunderstood his garbled explanation and writing live without being able to rewind. US was up on China 27-25. He said China had 5 likely golds and the US had 9 likely golds left. Given the nature of the US having chances in other events while China's specialties are pretty narrow would even increase the chances of the US picking off others (as already seen). So it sounds to me like he wasn't saying what @SU Nittany Tide had him saying but he also wasn't saying the concept that I was trying to explain to him. Is that accurate?
Yeah, something along those lines. So it sounds to me like he wasn't saying what @SU Nittany Tide had him saying but he also wasn't saying the concept that I was trying to explain to him. Is that accurate?

The whole thing wasn't presented well, so if you were sort of listening to it as background noise and not really paying attention you could miss the details that he was talking through.
Botswana is like a suburb of Trinidad, yo.The name of the country.
Oops...probably @DJ Fieri 's fault, since he bet on USA to coverUSA basketball not looking good vs Serbia. Down 11 at half
Yeah looks bad, but the depth of the USA bench is what usually wins out these games against better teams. As the starters wear down, our bench is better than theirs.USA basketball not looking good vs Serbia. Down 11 at half
Figured @huskers1217 bet on USAOops...probably @DJ Fieri 's fault, since he bet on USA to cover
Nope, uhh, just DJ....no one else at all....Figured @huskers1217 bet on USA
I still think it's great that Trinidad and Tobago competed in the Goodwill games during Mighty Ducks II. They even scored on the US!Botswana is like a suburb of Trinidad, yo.
Most embarrassing moment in USA winter athletics historyI still think it's great that Trinidad and Tobago competed in the Goodwill games during Mighty Ducks II. They even scored on the US!
They all look the same to you, don't they?
