I also got a good laugh that during the greatest streak of michigan football success in a century or so, and during a relative down period at OSU, they only had 7 more draft picks over the 5 year period he was bragging about. Not to mention 23 Buckeyes went in the first two days of the draft while only 20 went for michigan.

Is this still the decoding signs coming in from the sidelines, and people going to games of another team thread? I was just wondering if there was anything new. How does Harbaugh's personal schedule come into play when he is no longer the coach?

I think Harbaugh ultimately not coming definitely has something to do with the investigation. Like I said I get the feeling the adults higher up at the university came to better senses and told the football program this is not a good idea with looming NCAA investigations still ongoing over Harbaugh.

What the hell are they investigating. Harbaugh bought a kid a cheeseburger 🍔 and they decoded simplistic signs coming on from the opposing sideline 👀. Harbaugh was suspended for four games each time (a little excessive if you ask me).

You asked in a previous message if you missing something and I said you were:

- Let's take the second one first - it's not just that he bought a kid a cheeseburger - he actually bought himself a cheeseburger for breakfast (weirdo) and he paid for breakfast for a recruit and his family among other violations. The investigation that was just concluded found that he purpseofully violated the dead period for recruiting during COVID, then lied about it to the NCAA repeatedly. Harbaugh was given a 4 year show cause and suspension for a year should he ever come back to CFB. Other penalties were levied. FWIW, because he is in the NFL it doesn't matter practically, but its one of the worse coaching penalties ever given.

- As for the signs and scouting, no penalties yet. The Notice of Allegations hasn't been given, although Michigan leaked it to the press. What is new is that your new HC deleted text messages that he sent to Stalion and was caught doing so.

- Harbaugh's personal schedule comes into play because Michigan being the geniuses you are decided that after the NCAA just bitch slapped him you were going to make him the honorary team captain at the first game. It subsequently changed when he said his schedule would not allow it. Anyone with a brain realizes that it was because someone at UM decided to be an adult and told him not to come.

Harbaugh was suspended twice last year … A little excessive. The NCAA has come down with some crazy penalties for some minor incidents. We never got a proper shot to beat a Jim Tressel game (I know we won one game against him), but bullshit penalties invoked by the NCAA caused him to leave ohio state.

Michigan recruits NOWHERE NEAR the level of OAM, yet since 2020, Michigan has had 45 guys drafted into the NFL. OAM has had 36.

Ryan Day isn't Urban Meyer. That's why we love your head coach and hope he stays for a long, long time.

Did you just say OAM was on a down period? While you went 53-8 over those 5 years, one of the best 5 year stretches in OAM history.

Of course we could, Harbaugh was always an amazing coach, which is why the NFL teams came after him every year. Be happy no NFL team wants Ryan Day as Head Coach, so he won't be going anywhere. Michigan had more players drafted during Harbaugh's time at Michigan than ever before.

The one position that killed Michigan's chances "pre 2020" as you put it is -- QB. The cupboard was bare in the QB room when he got here. His missed on Peters and McCaffrey. Cade McNamara was alright. Good enough to beat OAM, but still not elite. Then JJ McCarthy, who was exactly what we were looking for and haven't had in 30 years. That is when UM took over the B1G and won a National Title.
