So in my wrong belief which I admit is wrong….

If there were 5 power 5 conferences it’s almost certain the G5 champs gets one of those 5 auto bid spots. Then there are 7 left. Conference championships used to be a tiebreaker. No longer considered it would be entirely up to ranking. Top loaded conferences like the SEC and the B10 could take up the majority of those 7 spots and functionally leave out a conference champ from a power 5. But there’s 4 power 5 teams now. Power 4. So the point is wrong.

Sure it does. One, I was wrong. Two, if the P5 still existed the tiebreaker for winning a conference champ would put them above any equal teams competing for the remaining 7 spots.

We are not overly concerned. We are still basking in the glow of a Championship, and our team is rebuilding. Should you beat us, it’s ok … not nearly in the league with ohio state or Michigan State.

I can't believe you are making me stick up for Michigan, but they are the reigning national champs. You, on the other hand, have an empty trophy case. The reason we put you at the kiddies table is so we don't have to hear you ... so pipe down until you do something to join the adults.
