Scariest of my 3, I'm not convinced OU can put that many points on the board at this point.....and they most definitely haven't proven they can keep pts off of the other side of the scoreboard.

Only gave up an avg. of 11 pts per game for the first 5 games last season (against teams that would finish 31-33), but after that they were allowing 30 pts per game for the rest of the reg season. TCU put up 45 in the last game of the reg season, and they didn't even have a winning record.

Can Wisconsin score the 35 it takes to cover?
Does Michigan have enough offense to score 22?
Do the Yellow Jackets have a big letdown?

I’m truly not worried about any team there coming within 3 tds. Anyone that picked Temple scaring OU is going to laugh at themselves though.

I understand your thoughts, it’s Temple though. I’m pretty confident this is going to be the best OU defense since 2000. We will see.

Another worry is, even if we can put points up at will, is Venables going to run it up.
My feeling is he won't, even if he can.

That is a big number, but if I had to bet I’d say they cover it.

I checked the Alabama game because I just don't know their head coach well enough to know what he's going to do with the score.

Probably run it being the 1st game and everything.

Western Kentucky will lose, will not cover the spread, and the total will go over

I can make predictions too.

We shall see

I’d steer clear of GT. GA State is a decent mid major, and they’re based in Atlanta too so will have motivation, and Tech is coming off a huge win and traveling back from Ireland.

I think they win, but it’s probably gonna be closer than it would be under normal circumstances

Based on this weekend just take all the dogs and probably come out ahead.

Same thoughts.

Fresno St-UM seems kind of obvious. UM lost everyone from last year and Fresno St is notorious for crashing P4 teams’ parties.

Damn. The only consensus is on GS@GT.

Get it together, guys.

It's not worrying about putting a scare into OU, but rather can they cover the 43. Obviously, OU could win 49-7, and while that's impressive, it's not a cover. I think Temple is terrible, but I thought Nevada and Del St were terrible, and they both managed to cover huge spreads. 43 is a ton.

Totally agree. This is a stay away game from me. This has trap game written all over it.
