Does Ryan Day still want to be in the Hang 100 Club, or has that ship been decommissioned?

I fully expect Akron to cover we seem to always stumble out of the gate in these types of games.
That does happen sometimes, but Akron is going to be fighting for the worst team in the FBS this year. I wouldn't comfortably take the cover, but it wouldn't shock me in the least.

I feel like every we historically under perform in these types of games. But agreed it wouldn't shocked me if we covered either, but I also just expect us to start slow and win like 41-3

I could see them not being interested in really opening up the offense and running the hell out of the ball, which would make for a quick game. That sort of final wouldn't shock me. Then again, a ST or defensive TD or two is also very possible. Akron is just so bad.

That's my worry. They need to come out and let the offense work and do it's thing. Not just run a bunch of RB left RB right plays.

Man, these have teaser bet written all over them. Maybe this is the week I actually have a 3 team teaser hit.

Why would anyone bet on games with spreads that big anyway?

Another worry is, even if we can put points up at will, is Venables going to run it up.
My feeling is he won't, even if he can.
IMO he is wise if he doesn't and plays a lot of guys he made need later in the season.

That said, didn't the SEC decide to use score differential as one of their down the list tie breaking criteria?

Got some bets in:
3 team teaser #1
Notre Dame/Texas A&M under 56.5
Alabama -22
South Carolina -11
3 team teaser #2
Ohio State/Akron under 69
Georgia -3.5
Nebraska -17.5
3 team teaser #3
UNC/Minnesota 060.5
Michigan State -4
West Virginia +18.5
