More Michigan Cheating

Home teams very literally tape every home game for scouting purposes....

Welcome to the point. Do you understand why these are the same yet?

Home teams, having already played said team, have a tremendous amount of scouting information on the teams they've already played to pass to future opponents.

Holy fuck dude. Stop ignoring what I’m saying.

Teams. Don’t. Tape. From. The. SIDELINES. <<<<<< I bolded that for you as you keep ignoring this fact.

When wanting to get the best view to steal signs, the best view would be………ON THE OPPOSING SIDELINE.

Thats the difference maize, and it’s a rather large one no matter what your homerism wants to think.

Actually, I can't. This is an important question, and it appears that y'all who are piling on Michigan are clueless. This thread started on October 19, 2023. It had to be known before that.
You have a Michigan fan continuing to change what he thought was going on while remaining idiotically obtuse.

You had another try and compare what Michigan did to the manning cast. lol

And everyone else is clueless.

Michigan fans are a different breed man.

Wait, do you think teams don't capture that on video? LOL jesus christ dude. Teams purposefully edit out both sidelines to distribute scouting film because.....it includes all that information. Stallions was not on the sidelines because it's the optimal spot, he was on the sidelines because he couldn't secretly record great video from the fucking booth.

There’s a pretty big DIFFERENCE doing it from a press box then doing it from a sideline.

I know you won’t admit that so then answer this….

If there is no difference, why would a coaching staff member from the university of Michigan dress up as a CMU support member standing on the sideline while using recording sunglasses to a night game at Michigan State?

Notice how the coach said they literally trade signs from other teams who already played the team in question. Tell me. How is that different than in person scouting? This is what’s called: a distinction without a difference. It’s actually YOU who still doesn’t get that.

The "difference" is in how they were obtained.

NCAA bylaw 11.6.1. gives teams the limits. Michigan violated said limits.

Thus the Notice of Allegations.

Listen we are not talking about Michigan fans on this site, and we are not talking about what other questionable practices that other teams have done. We are talking about the Michigan Wolverines and what they did and the time frame it happened.

My understanding below:
The Michigan Wolverines had scouts attend games of future opponents and decoded their signals being sent in from the sidelines.

I am not sure when it started, or when it was discovered.

You stated anyone piling on Michigan is clueless. You opened up the criticism to Michigan fans saying this.

And the whole reason this thread has gone 200+ pages is because Maize is still a delusional fool on this.

You’ve said a lot without answering a simple question (for someone making accusations). When did it start?

Why do you think there's a big difference? The only difference in this case (I'm guessing) is that Stallions (thought) he blended in more on the sidelines and I'm going to guess if he was using those glasses to record, there's probably limited abilities of those to zoom/grab the sideline. IE being closer is better.

There's also some information that's existed for a while, and why CMU might also be in trouble, in that they believe Stallions may have been working WITH CMU as well -- during the game to help steal MSU's signals, along with recording the signals for future use at Michigan. Which explains how he got access to gameday attire and sideline passes.

Sure. We've established that. But in-person scouting by having a prior team give you their information/scouting and having a staff member on the sidelines is splitting pretty pointless hairs that result in teh same thing. IMO Michigan had no more or less information than anyone else in the country. We just had a staff member do something stupid (dress in costume on the CMU sidelines).

Being in a Press Box would allow the observer have an unobstructed view of the other team’s sideline. If you are on the sideline, so many distractions and obstructions are there.

iirc.... The evidence (per Stalions' venmo receipts) date back 3 years from the time the scheme was outed in the news last fall.

So basically 2020 sometime.

What accusations am I making?

I have no idea when it started. Do you ?

He's and idiot but he's also a troll. This is the guy who tried sticking up for Harbaugh naming a dude captain who had previously sexually assaulted an innocent woman because she didn't give him what he wanted. It truly doesn't matter what michigan does, he will try (and fail) to manipulate information or play semantics in order to try and paint them in the best light. This has been going on for years.

Funniest part is, I guarantee he was one of the countless michigan fans up in arms about OSU players trading their belongings for tattoos.

Maize, you just literally answered the big difference with your next sentence(s). IE your distinction without difference comment was blatantly wrong.

I’m just happy you can admit the Difference now. A few posts we were told there was no difference.

Not if you find a spot that doesn’t have players directly in front. Surely you can admit that there is a difference looking at the sideline from a press box instead of looking at a sideline from the opposing sideline. But maybe you can’t or don’t want to.

Because some of the smaller programs would not be able to afford to spend the money on "in-person scouting".

It was meant to equal the playing field.
What NCAA College Football team could not afford this minor cost, but can now afford NIL?

Seems like a lot of time to neutralize this as a factor. If I were an opposing coach, I think I could have turned this into an advantage. Note: I am not even closely qualified to be a college football coach.
