More Michigan Cheating

You don't understand English then, because my "distinction without a difference" was referencing information gathered by schools and handed to future opponents of that schools' current opponent; and not about the distinction between recording from the sidelines vs. the booth; which you're now trying to claim is a "gotcha".
That was the whole difference here Maize. Recording on the sidelines which stallions did was better to collect information then a school handing some scouting report over to another opponent. That is the difference dummie. There is no distinction of difference because there is a large difference.
The distinction without a difference comment was directly related to the end result. The end result of in person scouting using prior school's scouting information (which is literally in person scouting) is functionally no different, if not better, than Stallions in person scouting on the sideline with spy glasses. It's a major loophole in the same rule we're discussion.
LOL, now you’re just being disingenuous. If it was no different or even better, why the fuck would a Michigan staffer dress up in CMU garb and wear recording sunglasses to a night game against a future Michigan opponent? You even admitted a few posts ago it was better sideline viewing for Stallions.
In the end, the school receiving that information gets all the information they need to steal signs. This is, as openly admitted by the coach in the post from yesterday, commonplace in the game. So common that teams regularly switch their signs out.

So, no. You haven't been able to follow the conversation, which is why you came to the false conclusion you did.
There is a large difference between getting info from a school and actually getting it yourself on the sideline. If there wasn’t, Michigan would have never done this. You continue to be wrong here and we’ll all laugh.

No, what stallions did was make his job easier -- not get better information. And thats the reason, it was easier.

There's nothing different about getting it from another school and getting it yourself. Other than one form of in person scouting is regulated and the other isn't; which is a financial regulation to protect smaller schools.

Meh.

If Sherrone Moore is suspended for the entire 2024 season it will be by Michigan's doing, not the NCAA's.

Michigan has 90 days from receipt of the Notice of Allegations to answer them. That puts us into late November.

i.e. Any punishment from the NCAA will be after Michigan answers the Notice of Allegations.

Stallions helping CMU On the sidelines as part of their staff:

That's a pretty big reason he was on the sideline in team gear. He was hired by CMU.

It’s easier to travel to school (hours away) and collect data yourself on an opponent then have a prior school send it over?

lololololololol

There is quite literally a difference in getting it yourself as we have seen and Michigan now appears to be in trouble for. Again there is a reason Michigan did this and we all know it, even you.

If we ever need someone to get to the center of the earth, I nominate you with as much digging as your excelling at here.

You can only get the data from the school if they agree to send it to you, which also implicates them (because we really don't know if that is legal, even if it's happening). Which is why Stallions took the easy approach of hiring people at the location to sit in the stands.

The CMU event seems to folded -- 1. to collect data and 2. to help former michigan staff members beat MSU (the recent information coming out indicates CMU hired Stallions, which is how he got sideline passes and team issued (new) team gear for their first game),. THis is an MSU source FYI:

There's a reason Stallions did this and hid it from the staff. And that's because it's entirely self serving.

I love how we should take a clearly deranged person (Stallions) at their word.

Oh Connor says nobody knew, that's it, end of story, time to move on.

denial isn't a river, bro.

First off, rude.

Secondly, because the tattoo was what they caught them on and not necessarily the end all of that story. That included, but was not limited to, stories like these for years. (tried posting the ESPN link but it messed up given it's from 2005)

Sure. All normal now. But at the time, it was hard to lose out on recruits to Ohio State when photos like this were appearing online:

Ohio State fans like to spin that like they didn't know what was going on behind closed doors. The Tattoos were just the thing they were most sloppy with.
I mean, it's a fair guess based on your flaming lack of objectivity when it comes to these two teams.

Secondly, the NCAA looked into the Pryor car pictures and got nothing. Not sure what your beef is. Also, as it's been said countless times before, it's wildly naive to think this wasn't happening everywhere given the abundance of tales throughout the years. Even your beloved ann arbor.

Coach Crybaby "I had no idea this was going on. Just happened to delete a shit ton of texts when someone asked if I knew".

I think the fact that he's deranged makes the actual story make more sense.

Sure. If someone was involved in some crazy scheme the first thing I'd do is delete any connection I had with that person. In hindsight it was a bad move, luckily one that could be resolved -- and messages show no connection.

I think this reach is a funny one. Like Moore had a huge part in this elaborate scheme and somehow did it in just 52 text messages over multiple years.

That doesn’t make it easier to do it yourself maize. Travel, logistics buying the equipment, getting into the stadium as opposed to asking a non opponent for film on their last/your future opponent.

And this whole day you have argued there is no difference getting it yourself or asking a team for that game film. Your linked tweet quite literally proves it’s more advantageous to be on the sideline than not.

Stallions did this because he and others on the coaching staff knew this was the best way to steal signs. Not game film from worse angles, this way. If that was false in any way there is no chance Stallions would have done this.

I think the fact that he's deranged makes the actual story make more sense.

Basically what you are telling us to believe is that Stallions just knocked on Harbaugh's door one day, handed him binders of info on all opponents and Harbaugh said "oh thanks we will use this!" without asking any questions or doing any due diligence about how the info was obtained.

You have to be at least mildly retarded to come to any conclusion near that.

Well right. The NCAA sucks. That's why they got nothing, they lack the power to actually get evidence most of the time. Not because it wasn't happening. Tressel didn't get fired JUST for tattoo gate, it was because that was the end of multiple accusations all surrounding the same thing and the coverup which he was directly linked to.

It does not appear that Stallions would not be considered a reputable source ... but there are people who believe what Kamala Harris says.

We should be thankful that Stallions has channeled his obsessions into college football. Guy is the type who possibly woulda became a serial killer otherwise.
