More Michigan Cheating

I went to Michigan from 1976-1980 … we weren’t perfect then, and we aren’t now. Can you name a university that is perfect? To me the worst thing that could happen is young men cease being young men.
I've always hated the notion that any school out there is clean, doesn't have players getting in trouble, etc. The only thing is praising them or rewarding them after the fact.

You're being generous with the half NC, everyone knows Nebraska would've handled them. They were the true champs that year.

I don't think "well they coulda combated it!" is really a legit excuse away of cheating.
According to @WhosYourDawggy said that people had suspected Michigan of cheating for 3 years. I think that I could have combatted against the cheating y’all claimed that Michigan is responsible. It’s not an excuse, but basic logic. If you knew someone was cheating against you, would you remain passive?

What was Harbaugh suspended for during the last three games of the season? Did Michigan cheat in there last game with ohio state?

If Michigan did cheat, "the other schools coulda done something to beat it" does not make the continued cheating ok. You are victim blaming here.

I think they probably still had a little in the tank but not the full effort of the cheating they had before it all broke and stallions was fired. That would explain them struggling to beat a pretty mundane (by Ohio State standards) team with the worst QB we've had in awhile by a last minute INT when they ran over 2 much better teams in 2021 and 2022.

From their 1/2 of a title in 1997, 1998-2020 Michigan wasn't even a real "title contender" outside of maybe 1 or 2 years.

They spent the better part of 20+ years more likely to lose 4 or more games in a season than be a competitor.
And it appears they had to cheat their literal asses off to get one of them.

:dhd:

I mean in the last 76 years you guys have a half of a NC, and then one with an asterisk sitting next to it. I wouldn't be pounding my chest ... that's weaksauce.

For the past 3 seasons.
Not really. They have moved beyond "suspected of cheating" and into "confirmed cheating" territory. Now we are just waiting to see to what extent.

I believe the only feasible way to combat it is with electronic communication devices, which would have required them tattling to get to be allowed.

So yeah, they could have combated it but would have made them as big of bitches as your new HC :suds:

What should I state that my university cheated when I have seen to evidence (you can't see what you are not looking at), all I know is the accusations I've seen in this thread. I am just saying if if I knew someone was cheating and how they were cheating, I would not sit by passively.

You were undefeated and we beat you. We were only a 3 point favorite at home which means your team was view as superior to ours. We beat you without cheating and we beat Alabama and Washington without cheating. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!! Feel free to take it from us, you will have your chance. NO EXCUSES!!!

I like how he thinks "Ohio State only has 2 titles the last 50 years" is some major dig.

Not a ton of schools have multiple during this time and not everyone can be fucking Alabama under Saban.

Ohio State has been a legit competitor the vast majority of my conscious lifetime, Michigan fans can't say the same.

From 1997-2020 Michigan lost 4+ games 12 times. They only managed to lose under 3 games 3 times in that same period. That's a very mediocre 20+ year period for a supposed powerhouse.

Or they could have changed their signs or change the person sending in the signs.

There isn't an amount of money I wouldn't pay to have 2 in the last 50 years for A&M.

That's not feasible to do mid-season, though. You can't have different signs for every different game and you never know when Michigan is there cheating. So they would need a dozen different sets of signs, because it wouldn't be difficult to just figure out what the activator signal is. They would have to be a dozen different playbooks to go with those signals.

Or...and bear with me on this one...Michigan could just not fucking cheat!

857 other college football teams manage to not cheat like this, but Michigan can't help themselves and then turn around and blame others for allowing them to cheat.

I think i have heard it all now. :pound:

I could do it with the same signs. Have 3 people send in the signs ... "Which one is giving the signs"?
