Deion Sanders reportedly has made an embarrassing decision involving Colorado's band.

A report released over the weekend by DenverSports.com after the blowout loss to the Cornhuskers claims Deion has ordered the Colorado band to not play the fight song when Shedeur scores. The reason? He reportedly wants his son's awful rap song to play instead.

"A year later and the offensive line still doesn’t fight for each other.A year later and the fight song doesn’t even play in the stadium after the quarterback throws a touchdown. Deion Sanders told the band they couldn’t play if his son Shedeur Sanders scores a touchdown so that the loudspeaker can play a recording of his son’s song ‘Perfect Timing,’" Jake Shapiro wrote Saturday night. Colorado didn't return a request for comment by publication.

So, relying on a music career as a backup plan if the whole football thing doesn’t pan out. It really is just all about his kids.

I would like to think they play with some pride so as long as the season is not totally lost they’ll continue to do their best which I think they’re doing now. It just isn’t good enough but that’s coach problem not player problem.

But, if the season is lost and those public comments hurt either their draft stock or transfer options, then yeah payback is due.

Shadeur is gonna get drafted in the first 3 rounds, and is gonna be a bust, and when he leaves college, Deion is gonna leave Colorado and leave them in just as bad of shape as they were before he got there.

I would agree 100% prior to the transfer portal. Now it seems like when a coach leaves there's a good chance the new one will have to rebuild the roster anyway.

Deion isn't even trying to build a foundation.
There's no team chemistry when you flip a roster every year. Particularly along the lines and that's where Colorado is the worst on both sides of the ball.

Colorado: 95th with 11 commits.

Transfers: 8th with 43 transfers.

Whomever the next coach is will have to start from scratch.

Part of me feels bad for Hunter getting duped by the Deion BS and wasting his collegiate career as he has, because he would've been elite no matter where he went. That said, he made the decision knowing how shitty a coach Deion is. He's not a pro level CB but he is certainly a pro WR, but his stats have been shit playing for this team compared to if he went to any number of other elite schools.

You can feel bad that Hunter attached his college career to Deion, but he played with Shadeur as a freshman, it makes no sense to hitch his wagon to him at Colorado so that I can’t feel bad. It’s not like he didn’t have options to go play with a real QB.

I think after the next game where Shedouche puts up 400+ yards and 3+ TD's he will shut down for the season. He needs an eye popping stat line then some core-muscle injury that will sideline him for the season. Gotta protect that draft stock, and can't hurt it or yourself if you aren't on the field.
