NFL WEEKLY GAME THREAD Week 2

So, are the Saints actually good?

Gotta start wondering. Back to back weeks where they put up 40+ points. Granted, Carolina is miserable, but Dallas' defense is really good.

Even if this is a 2-game blip, with an offense that can put up points like that, they at least have to be considered with TB for favorites in that division.

WOOOOOO! Drake London TD with :34 seconds left won me my FF matchup

Eagles ML I assume?

Yeah I think that’s pretty safe.

@huskers1217 give you that betting tip?

Some pretty bad coaching this weekend. Sirianni, Shanahan, Dan Campbell. Yikes. Getting too cute for their own good. Of course it does not help Eagles hired Kellen Moore...Dallas sloppy seconds, Chargers sloppy sloppy seconds.

Cousins looked like a completely different QB than he did last week. And with his prime time track record, was very unexpected

I don’t know what was better: the Saquan drop that could have sealed the win or Jalen taking the time to literally gift wrap an interception when all he had to do was throw the ball away with plenty of time to get into field goal range.

Yup that's a tough one. I think Jalen throwing that terrible pick is better.

The Saquan drop for sure. If they run the hall for no game, go for it on 4th and turn it over on downs, they win that game. An incomplete pass or turnover was literally the only way the Falcons have a real chance. No reason one of those possibilities should have even been possible, especially since as great as Saquan is, he does drop a lot of passes

Pick was worse. Only guy who had a play on it was the safety. You don't make a desperation heave like that with 20 seconds plus a timeout left.

In a vacuum, I’d agree, but a run play or if Saquon catches the pass, either the Eagles take knees to end the game or Falcons get the ball back with far less time left and still no timeouts. Only thing they couldn’t do was stop the clock, and they did. Without that, Falcons probably don’t score and that game ending int doesn’t happen

Even run it for no gain and kick the FG, runs another 35 seconds off the clock and they win.

Or, and this is pretty radical thinking, if PHL would play the defense they played all game they might win that game. Instead they go into that prevent mode that got zero pressure and no secondary can completely cover multiple guys or 5-6 seconds.

Sounds like another PHL DC is going to get scapegoated.

For sure. Stopping the clock on third down was literally the only thing that could give the Falcons a realistic chance
