2024 Season Thread

That win last night accounts for 13% of the points Burton has scored all season through 25 races. Austin Dillon is now likely safe from being the lowest points finisher for a driver with at least one win that ran every race now, but Joe Nemechek’s record from 1999 is in real trouble now

Literal start of race

LOL

Love Truex, but that was one of the worst moves of his career

Passed by North Wilkesboro Speedway the other day on my way to pick up my new basset pup

Pretty cool and glad it's back in business. Looks like Rockingham is headed in that direction, too.

Truck series will race in Rockingham next season. A little disappointed they’re removing the Milwaukee Mile to add it, there’s plenty of worse tracks than Milwaukee on the schedule, but glad Rockingham is coming back

I thought XFinity was returning to the Rock next year as well

Kind of proud of Logano. Think this is the first drafting race he’s ever been in where he didn’t cause a big crash

Larson would almost be better off just starting and parking at Daytona, Talladega and Atlanta. I always make a small fortune betting against him for every available matchup bet at those tracks. Shame only 4 were listed yesterday

It was nice to see that Atlanta wasn't reduced to the usual superspeedway battle of attrition. Logano actually won with skill, strategy, and a quality car.

Larson losing at superspeedways might just be the easiest money in all of sports.

Turnabout is fair play

But, boy Jeff Burton’s broken condom really needed a shot at a Mickey Mouse title because he backed into a win at Daytona over Buescher

Lol at SVG. Couldn't pass Buescher clean and then shit the bed. He's going to get his clock cleaned next season at every track that isn't a RC.

You can shove the Daytona 500, Coke 600 and Brickyard up your ass. Night race at Bristol and the Southern 500 are NASCAR’s best races.

Spire has traded Lajoie to Rick Ware for Haley beginning next week and for 2025.

Harrison Burton will drive the #15 in Xfinity next season.

Slight edit. Haley will definitely be in the #7 for Spire next week and going forward through 2025.
RWR will see how the rest of the season plays out with Lajoie before determining their plans for next season.

Keselowski was asked about Haley leaving RWR since they have a technical alliance with RFK, and he basically said that Haley has a driver in waiting contract at Hendrick. So, I'd say he's most likely taking either Bowman or Larson's seat for 2026.

I mean, it wouldn’t take much to be an upgrade over Hack, but is there rumors of Larson trying his hand in open wheel full time or something?

Yes, there are rumors that Larson is ready to move on from Nascar and moving to Indy full time with the same team he's doing the Indy 500 with, he'd still be a Hendrick driver, just not a full time Nascar guy.

Good riddance if it happens. One less dirty driving racist POS

23XI and FRM filing an anti-trust suit against NASCAR.

NASCAR is monopolistic?
