Who do I start?

So this week I'm planning to start Devonta Smith @NO and Chris Godwin vs DEN and bench Garrett Wilson vs NE (matchup with Gonzalez) on Thursday. Anyone want to attempt to talk me out of this or is it a good idea?

Devonta is going to draw top CB with AJ out, so that will be tough. Godwin and Wilson likely do better. but what do I know, my WR's suck ass this year...looking at you TYREEK

Yeah but is Lattimore really that scary anymore? Plus the Iggles move Devonta around, will Lattimore be moving with/covering him when he's lined up in the slot? He usually likes/tends to remain outside.

Wilson is definitely better than Devonta in a vacuum but the Jets play so slowly and it seems like Gonzalez will definitely be shadowing him no matter where he lines up.

Yeah but he'll be back this week.

If it's Rodgers and Hackett you know the pace is gonna be molasses, those two together are seemingly always trying to win by one score on the last possession. Been that way since Green Bay.

As I said above (with an extra piece of info at the end that of course makes my decision more difficult LOL)

One thing that Aaron Rodgers carried over from his playing days with the Packers is his penchant for letting the clock run down as long as he can before snapping the ball. That’s reflected in the fact that the Jets are currently third-slowest by pace over expected. On top of this, the Jets have averaged the third-fewest plays per game in the NFL through two weeks. That’s shocking given their offense ranks 10th overall in EPA per play (per RBSDM.com), meaning they’re moving the ball, but they’re also taking their sweet old time doing so. Lack of volume is certainly a concern, but the Jets do currently have the most concentrated target tree with Garrett Wilson (30.4% target rate) and Breece Hall (25.0%) leading the way.

I have Jameson and he's been pretty solid and seeing plenty of targets. Ridley sounds like he has done well as well. I'd bench Cooks. Lamb gets the first look, everyone else shares the rest. Dallas has zero run game to force anyone to respect it so the underneath routes are covered by the LB and the go routes are covered by the safeties. Until Dallas cracks 40 yards total rushing in a game, I'd ignore all Dallas WR's not named Lamb.

Yeah Ridley scored big last week but I had him on the bench. I played cooks last week that was a mistake won’t do that this week

Problem with Cooks is there will be a week or two where he drops 20 points. But you are going to get more 6 point weeks than 20 pointers.

Don't know if you need one answer or two or what scoring system you use but Williams, Ridley, Cooks is the order regardless.

If you only have 2QB's in a 2QB league then the decision is easy

I don't think Lamar will do as well as Carr did, or as bad as Watson did, vs Dallas defense. I think Dallas will have something to prove and will be very active. If BWI starts with a lot of screens and counters in anticipation of that, could be a bad day for Dallas. But won't get Lamar a lot of points. I believe Cousins can put up numbers, but will he have any WR's? Haven't hard about Jeffersons availability. Also, if Cousins does throw a TD will the refs let it stand? Doubtful.

I was able to pick Darnold up off Waivers for $0 and then flip him to another guy for Kareem. I know he will be committee this season, but after Achane and Taylor my only other RB is Miles Sanders. gag.

I nailed this decision last week but still lost, 3rd most points played against the high of the week. Oh well.

Trying to decide this week between PIT D @IND and CLE D @LV. Also considering MIA D vs TEN because they go to New England next week (Steelers are home against Dallas, Browns are in Washington) and I am looking ahead a bit because my game this week is against the worst team in the league. I might just hold the Steelers and play them against Dallas though, their schedule is pretty good in 6-7-8 and Dallas hasn't exactly looked great on offense.

He's interesting, it might be a tricky matchup for him this week but they seem to be interested in scheming touches for him. I like him better in PPR, they threw him a number of screens last week.
