Pac12 expansion - looking to add 4 teams

I believe the PAC is stating they are being charged unlawful, unenforceable fees. How? They agreed and signed the contract while being fullly aware of the poaching fees that were disclosed on the documents. Obviously I personally want the PAC to come out of it with some sort of lower amount owed with Boise coming over but they have no justification or grounds to sue and even a settlement for something less isn’t happening in my opinion. They went into the contract with eyes wide open and willingly agreed to the terms of it.
There is a solid anti trust argument. I remember it being brought up when the agreement was signed and thought it was dumb. That is the angle the lawyers are going. So they have a leg to stand on but I think it is idiotic and the problem with our judicial system. IMO the intent of Anti Trust laws have nothing to do with this situation.

4 of the teams I mentioned plus Utah are currently ranked and higher then every team in this new mid major you are creating. Shit 2 of them even have a loss and are still ranked over the undefeated team you think is Gods gift to the earth. There is absolutely no one in the new PAC that would be top 2 in the B12 while the B12 yearly would sweep the top 2 with about 6 teams.
Ranked means nothing. There is zero logical person could lose at the season and say we should be ranked below any Big 12 not named Utah.

Ranked means something. And in an opinion based argument it's more than something. Wazzou should be ranked. Thinking no other B12 team should be ranked ahead of them is laughable.

MWC giving $30MM signing bonuses to both UNLV and Air Force with incoming PAC war chest money to convince them to stay.

Daaaaamn.

The MWC playing the PAC out for playing the MWC out.

It's not really that laughable. Washington State is 7th in SoR. The game against SJSU hurt their metrics, but that was a natural letdown spot, following their biggest win in probably 5 years on a short week. I'd have Utah ahead, but there's absolutely a case to be made for Washington State to be ranked ahead of everyone else in the B12, at this point.

I mean what argument can you use on this??? This is all opinion based. But I find it absolutely insane you are trying to say teams like Kansas State and Oklahoma state who competed with Texas and OU to make conference championships aren't doing that against the like of Fresno st, Boise st, wazzou and osu.

Does the water need tested in Washington??
you mean Kansas state who lost to tulane 2 years ago and barely beat them this year? how did that oklahoma state south alabama game go in 23? they did beat Boise 21-20 a couple years ago. so so yeah totally easy picks there.
Fresno who has wins over Purdue and arizona state(2) and washington state and UCLA(2) and
one score losses to USC and Minnesota in recent years yeah hard to imagine they would compete.
or Boise who is still the measuring stick for G5 vs Power teams
yeah Oregon State and Washington State who were over shadowed by teams in the pac as well but still had years like 22 and 10 wins got Oregon state like 5th in the pac but got Kansas State a conference championship

Are we really talking about almost losses? Remember last Friday when wazzou almost lost to San Jose st? Or how Oregon state survived a bad SDSU??? Oregon state has lost more than once to a 1-AA this century. Oregon St and Wazzou didn't sniff a conference championship with arguably a softer conference (save last year). They wouldn't sniff a top 2 finish in this B12. Yet you think because they won/survived some games vs a down PAC no one from the B12 would have a chance?

You should get your water checked Dave.

And yet Boise St, a team with a loss is in front of them. Both okie jr and KState have loses to top 25 teams while starting the season ranked. Wazzu should be ranked over Boise, that's all.

Attack on the MAC!

lol. You could see this coming from a mile away. Rather than targeting the top FCS programs, go raid the best teams from an inferior albeit somewhat slightly inferior G5 conference.

??? Boise is 43rd in SoR. FSU started out ranked. So did Arizona and NC State. Who cares? The AP and Coaches Poll have never been more irrelevant than they are now. Washington State should most definitely be ranked over KSU and Oklahoma State. You'd have more of an argument if you were going to argue BYU instead of the other two. KSU and Oklahoma State have done nothing to be ranked other than start the year ranked.

I'm genuinely curious how this would impact their other sports? You know if they leave for football they are going to have to find a home for all their other sports. Do they join the Horizon? Toledo's been a very good mid Major program for about the last decade. NIU had been awful though.

FSU has lost 3 games/NCstate 2. There is absolutely no comparison there. Bringing them up is useless. Saying KSU and Okie Jr have done nothing to be ranked is complete and utter bullshit. KSU has 2 solid wins and Junior has that win vs Arkansas. They 100% deserve to be ranked. Especially considering they started ranked.

What are KSU's solid wins? Arizona has looked like shit(the metrics absolutely back that up), Tulane is basically the equivalent of SJSU, and beating Washington on a neutral field is basically equivalent to beating Arkansas at home. KSU and Oklahoma State aren't in the top 25 in efficiency, SoR, or GC.

The football gods had better not fuck-up MACtion...
I hope Toledo and NIU admins are smart and don't allow their football teams to go to the MWC.

Arizona is a solid win. Tulane on the road is a solid win. There's a realistic chance Washington goes 7-5 this year. I've said wazzou should be ranked. Not really sure why they are not over Boise.
