GAME VT @ 7 MIAMI | 7:30ET | ESPN

Sucks to say it. The right call was made

ACC desperately trying to stay relevant...

In the end, all the Miami defenders needed to do was bat that shit away. All them hands down there.

They fucked up the initial call. It was incomplete and they just guessed he caught it thinking they could easily reverse in replay. but wasn’t enough to overturn it on replay so the replay official decided to bail his ref out

Glad I ain't a VT fan tonight. Be debating felonies.

That is fucking horseshit. Complete and utter horseshit

At the very least, its not enough evidence to overturn the call.

Bunch of fucking dumbasses that can't follow their own rules

WOW, a real WTH moment, but it was decided at the conference level.

Fuckin Virginia Tech. They were kicking ass until that dumbass fake fg attempt

I didn’t see a clear enough angle to overturn that.
Didn’t look like he ever had possession to me, very close but correct call imo.

Well they shouldn’t have ruled it a TD to begin with imo. Strange play. Unlike one I ever witnessed

Sorry, bud. Didn’t think there was enough there to overturn. If they’d have called it incomplete, I’d say the same.

Friday night football! Woooo!

I’m not sure on this rule - help me out fellas. Both players did not have full possession of the ball. The defensive player was out of bounds and touching the ball. Isn’t that “illegal touching” therefore a defensive penalty? If so VT should’ve had another shot at it - or am I out of my dot?
