However, Notre Dame lost to (G5)/(3-2) Northern Illinois. If I can't rank Notre Dame, I can't rank A&M.

You should also notice I don't have ANY 2 loss teams ranked.
Losses should matter.
2 losses matter more than one loss.
Don't lose. Especially to a team that lost to Northern Illinois who lost to Buffalo, who lost to UConn.

Do what you want. A one loss team to a ranked team, in their opener, who is now leading the SEC...and you don't rank them.
