Week 7 Playoff Projections

I don't see ISU losing to Utah. I honestly haven't been impressed with them all year, even when Rising was healthy. They have two uninspiring wins over Ok State and Baylor, who it turns out aren't good, and then lost to the Arizonas the last two weeks. I may have to try and catch some of the ISU-TTech game in a couple weeks, as that could be a lot better than originally thought with how Tech is playing. Gun to my head, I'm gonna guess it's ISU/BYU in the CCG.
Yes, TT will be a tough game!
Forgot about that one.
At least, it is at home.

It looks like the remaining tough ones (Tech, Cincy, KSU) are all at home fortunately for ISU. I'm rooting for Matt Campbell, the past few years haven't been his best but he's a hell of a coach.

I think it depends on how healthy they are. If they have all their bullets they have performed well. When they haven’t….
been battlin injuries all season -
the off-week helped Tech to get healthy -
Baylor at home on Saturday,
then on to Fort Worth,
before the game in Aimes -

wreck em!

ISU is such an odd team in this whole thing. They are good, but it is hard to tell how good. I think they are as good as the 2020 team, which was the best ISU team of all-time with Purdy, Hall, Kolar, McDonald, etc.

However, the teams on the schedule are underwhelming in the W-L column this year, which helps ISU win, but it keeps us from seeing how good they might really be.

I see 10-0 until they play @ Utah, but they could easily drop that game and K-State at home the next week and finish 10-2 and in the Alamo Bowl.

On the other hand, they could finish 12-0 and play 12-0 BYU in the Big Xii Championship Game which would be OUTSTANDING!

My guess is they split the difference, finsh 11-1 and have a 50-50 chance to win the auto-bid in the Big XII Championship Game. A loss and who knows?

Just enjoying the ride from week to week. 2017 National Champion UCF coming to town this week! :) The weather is suppose to beglorious in Ames this weekend.
Most B12 fans should be rooting for this.

Georgia is strong, but not great, despite their stumble vs. Bama. Other teams are good, though not championship level.

The end of the year will most likely come down to Texas, Oregon, or Miami.
Not so sure about Miami. The points and yards they give up is not a good thing.

Miami will not be there

Wouldn't surprise me if they were. Who do they have left on their schedule that can challenge them?

Oh they'll make the playoffs. They won't be in the final 4

My Playoff prediction based on how I see the season finishing out:

11. Mizzou (11-2 loses to Texas in SEC Title game). I have to have at least 1 homer pick. I think Mizzou can win out.
