I am interested in how high they will rank Alabama. In the famous words of Shannon Sharpe in regards to the 4 team playoff: "This is not a playoff. This is the Alabama Invitational Tournament". Does the 12 team playoff have the same thoughts?

The CFP can’t this round of rankings, but it will be interesting how the committee treats teams with 1-2 losses that DON’T have to play in a CCG. Some year’s that extra game been an important data point for them. Other years they never even mention it.Oh for sure. I am thinking in terms of the 1st CFP Poll.
Will be interesting. Zero loss teams. Good wins or just "meh" wins or "that team sucks" wins? 1-loss teams. Good wins? Good loss? Bad loss? Good wins and good loss? Good wins and bad loss? Here are my questions:
Where is undefeated Indiana ranked? Especially compared to a team like Penn State.
How does the committee rank undefeated ACC/Big 12 teams (Miami and BYU) compared to the 1 loss SEC/Big Ten teams (Texas, Georgia, Ohio State, Penn State, etc.)
What G5 teams make the rankings? I assume Boise will be the highest ranked G5 team but how many other teams make it? Who else is waiting in the wings for that G5 bid? Is Boise ranked high enough to potentially earn a bye if there's a major upset in the Big 12 or ACC?
Doesn’t really matter. The early CFP rankings are for entertainment and to spur conversation. The last one is the only one they actually do any work on, we have seen that time and time againI am interested in how high they will rank Alabama. While they do change them up week to week somewhat, it’s not like they start wholesale every week. The committee has a tendency to justify their early rankings by keeping them stable in the subsequent weeksDoesn’t really matter. It most certainly is. Just a small one.it's not a poll

Here's an article about some of it.Looks pretty good. I’m with Greg though. At this point BYU at 9 seems low. Undefeated. Handed #13 SMU their only loss on the road and absolutely destroyed #23 K State by 30. But like the others mentioned during the telecast still additional time and games to sort everything out.
how does Ohio State not have a resume enhancing win but Penn State has a quality loss. same same gameIndiana should be ranked above Ohio State. Neither team has any resume enhancing wins, but at least Indiana is undefeated. Penn State has a "quality" loss, but when you don't have any good wins to offset that loss then who gives a shit.
