I am wish him no ill will, but he quit. I am not going to pretend I wish him well for that

pettaway has an open room and still can't do anything with it..

Cook is upset because he can't get snaps (and also being beaten out by Moore and a true fish in Wingo)

Texas produces a lot of busts at WR.. Just so many highly ranked WRs in the state every year and I think a lot of them are maxed out, due to spread football and 7 on 7.

Pettaway has been nursing a hamstring injury most all season. I think our wide outs are made of paper.

I'll give 7 on 7 credit for developing QBs and WRs for sure. And they may well be maxed out...especially those coming out of unbelievable high school programs.

But only 50% credit for developing DBs. I blame 7 on 7 for some of the poor tackling from Texas DBs in general when it come to the regular season. They can get to receivers but when they transition in the fall to tackling well instead of just touching them it shows up big time. There are exception of course but overall, that's my opinion.

been in the conference for 4 months.. already playing for a SEC championship

Here is the thing on Cook. He doesn’t possess an elite skill set. That means has much smaller margin for error. He isn’t big. He has a smallish frame. He doesn’t have elite speed (not slow by any means, but not elite). His hands have always been inconsistent. Texas starts 3 guys that will at least get a cup of coffee in the NFL. If you want time you better be able to bring something to the offense the other guys cannot

Cook would be WR2 at ou for sure though ... should make a run at him

Hey you rusty cow faithful, I just heard Klatt say on the Cowherd show that Texas has held every opponent to less than 300 yards on offense this year. I haven't researched to verify it but.......................

That's not hard to believe given who they have played. They have played exactly 1 ranked team and that was Vandy.
