Married Monday

Congrats man. I use to be married…and then she turned out to be a cheating bitch. These last 9-10 years single have been very freeing.

2 weeks into my marriage and I lost my wedding ring. Realized it while getting ready to go to DC for a concert. Scrambled and thought of all the places it might be, checked the garbage disposal, etc...realized it must have come off while washing the dog in the backyard. So went to the garage, got my metal detector, and found the little bastard in 2 minutes! It was very much a Lord of the Rings/Gollum look on my face when I saw it sitting there in the grass with all the leaves.

Lesson learned, don't keep wedding ring on while washing things.

I haven't taken my wedding ring off since I got married 25+ years ago. Now the only way to get it off would be to cut it off (or cut my finger off inside the knuckle).

I was trying to go that route...but I think there will certainly be some times when I do.

also, newly married men who are new to wearing a ring should start with a "starter ring" made from silicon until they can prove they are responsible enough to wear a ring without losing it.

I actually rarely wear my wedding ring, don't want to be caged in you know? Or I just never really found it comfortable and just don't wear often, I'm just as married with it on or off


I thought i lost mine once years ago, not sure how, ended up on floor in rug. Found it by accidentally stepping on it. I did buy a replacement ring for $40.00 prior to finding it htough

Lost one in a community pool then found it with the help of the lifeguards.

Lost another one washing dishes. Never found if just gone.

Been wearing silicone rings ever since unless we go out to dinner or something then I’ll throw a gold one on.

Never got used to the feel of wearing a ring and after 20 years it’s still a minor annoyance.

Can’t wear one when lifting because I can feel it when gripping a bar/dumbbell. So I’m always removing mine. Having a very specific place to put it has been key to not losing it.

probably smart, you're finger will likely swell during trip and ring will be really uncomfortable

my finger turned purple on our honeymoon and on day 3 I endd up painfully taking it off and putting in the suitcase.

Kiddo’s team won the SB yesterday. He had a 50 yard TD catch.

Saturday daughters cheer team finished 1st in their division and 2nd overall.

Lions won in Texas to cap off one of the best weekends ever.

It’s definitely feels weird wearing the ring and keep playing with it. She thinks I am going to lose it. Lol.

I am glad I made it 2 weeks...but also thank God my mom randomly bought me a metal detector for one of my COVID birthdays...
