Yeah, the Deion hate is just silly.....he has completely turned around the Buffaloes program.
He’s taken a Colorado program that was an afterthought and turned them into a ratings machine with a chance to played for the B12C.

I mean, let's be real about this. The Big 12 is a glorified G5 this year, and Colorado has avoided facing the top 3 teams in the conference. His best win is against 6-4 Baylor by a TD, and he was beat by KSU and destroyed by Nebraska. I'm aware previous coaches were horrible and the program was shit, but they're a little bit better than shit right now. If they make the CFP it will be a bloodbath.
Also @fordman84 is right, it's not like Deion is staying there long-term.

Yeah the timing of it looks like Riley knew he was losing one QB, told the local kid about it, and basically was an understood "hey if we lose this one kid you will be the guy Husan". Go be the day 1 likely starter for USC or come in and have to compete and probably be the 2nd or 3rd string for A&M. Not really a tough choice when I'm sure the NIL money was comparable. And if he doesn't like USC then its easy enough to move on these days. No risk decision for the kid, can't fault him.

I honestly don't follow recruiting that closely but one website I looked at had one of them as the 5th best QB and 34th best player and another had the other at 6th and 31st. That would make them very close actually.
