The entire playoff committee needs to be drawn & disemboweled

Nonsense. My team is unanimous #1. I can say whatever the fuck I want at the rest of you chumps.
You mean your barely squeking by #1. Trust me, we were #1 for a very long time and we heard that shit over and over. Goes with the territory you squeaker by.

You see that gold thing at the bottom right? Should I click that? I bet that will settle this.

Why has none of the ESPN guys asked that how come eye test isn't anywhere on the CFP website? Oh wait...

If they lose, they should be out. Same with Texas. As you pointed out, if you have a shitty schedule, your margin for error is slim. For those teams, they can't afford another loss.
Losses matter this year. Not last year. Exhibit A: Florida State. Zero losses and didn't get in.

They have to go by this so called eye test. Last season, Alabama beat Georgia head to head and was in. Texas beat Alabama head to head and had to be in. The committee set that standard last year. But this year, BYU beat SMU at SMU and is ranked... behind them?

For Indiana it'll depend on how they lose. If they keep it close with the #2 team, it'll show they are one of the 12 best teams.

If they get blown out, they need outside help.

I really do think they get rid of the Committee in 2026 and go with a formula. The BCS is still weighted toward WL record, but at least puts some weight behind SOS.

Someone posted the Massey Composite the other day. This seems better than the Committee and the BCS, and not just because it has UGA higher. It appears to give deference to SOS and WL record. My guess is that Indiana will plummet if they lose, Texas, too. I am trying to figure out the Texas v. PSU placement.

The closeness of the win will be the difference between being in, or being 10th or 11th. They certainly have nothing to hang their hat on if they lose.

You're going by resume instead of eye test. Committee uses eye test as the 1st factor before going into anything else.

The SOS, common opponents, H2H, is only when the eye test fails to differentiate.

The "Principles" section is basically a tiebreaker. Eye test means they are not "otherwise comparable teams".
They bring these phrases up every year or so. What was it a couple of years ago? Game control?

If that's what you want to use instead of "eye test", go for it. Fairly synonymous.

What the hell am I missing with Ole Miss? They lost to unranked LSU and Kentucky. A&M lost to ranked Scar and ranked ND.

A&M STILL getting punished more for ND's loss than ND is. :L

All within A&Ms reach though. Just win, and you're fine.

Completely agree. But as of this moment, I just don't get it. I guess Elko needs to be a whiney pussy so the committee notices him.
