tOfficial “Fuck your rival” thread

Kuck F-State!
Just Kuck 'em all day and all night long.
Let's Go Cyclones!

You aren't concerned about the OL? I would be very concerned.
Not necessarily. As I said to you earlier, we had a huge influx of talent in the last two classes. Unreasonable for most freshman and even sometimes Soph OL to play year 1. But you start giving them a year or two to develop and you're fine. Tons of depth on the offensive line, a lot of it is young. Of course, it doesn't hurt to go grab established guys around that. See:

Same story on the DL, tons of young talent in the wings

now compare that with our WR room :sad2:

The development with the current guys was not good and Moore was directly in charge of that, I wouldn't be overly confident in anybody on that roster if I were a Michigan fan.

The WR room is just bad, I think they are going to have a hard time luring in the higher level transfers too with what the coaching staff has shown on offense this year and a freshman QB behind a unknown OL.

He also produced some of the best lines in Michigan history. There's also been improvement on that unit throughout the year.

I think Underwood gives us a better shot at getting top WR talents -- especially given the current state of that position on the team. Instant starters, guaranteed.

Upper end WR prospects in the portal are gonna wanna play for a at least somewhat proven QB in a offense that has proven can get them the ball efficiently. Michigan checks neither of those boxes.

On the other hand....$$$

Otherwise we're going to be throwing at a lot of Freshman

Honestly that might be the better option to try to strike fire with freshman instead of bringing in some meh portal guys if you whiff on the tope guys. It at least gets them experience for 2026, I don't expect Michigan will be able to put together enough to be legit competitive in 2025 might as well use it as a learning year.

Wish I could join in, but no TN fan I know of actually considers Vandy a rival. In fact most Vol fans I know actually pull for Vandy unless they are playing us.

There are a number of sorta realistic scenarios where the Cocks travel to Columbus to play the Buckeyes in round 1 of the playoffs. Stay tuned.......

I'm only worried about those dickhead Wolverines atm

Afraid that Day will pull a John Cooper and lose to a shitty Michigan team when he should blow them out?

The difference between teams this year is much greater than it was in 1995 or 1996. Ohio State should not had lost those games but those Michigan teams weren't "bad" in the way this one is.

96 Michigan finished 8-3 in the regular season they beat Colorado @ Colorado (Colorado finished #8) and one of the losses was a 1 point road loss to B1G co-champ Northwestern.

95 Same thing, 8-3 regular season with a strong OOC win over #16 Virginia

Those were underachieving Michigan teams, this is a legit bad Michigan team.

The thing that potentially worries me is that Day hijacks play calling big time like I feel he has at times this year and goes into his bullshit safe shell, that will make this game much closer than it should be.
