Nebraska Cornhuskers 2025 Recruiting Thread (Commit List in OP)

Another former high 4-star EDGE transfer looking like Nebraska in the near future. DJ Warner was a high 4-star out of HS in the 2024 class and didn't play much for Kansas this past year. Sounds like Nebraska is a landing spot for him.

Nebraska getting visits from the top two OTs in the portal is a good thing. LSU is the other team to watch here. I think Nebraska has a good shot with this one. Seems like World is likely to go to either A&M or Oregon at this point.

He's supposedly on campus today, unsure when he's visiting LSU or if he has already

Here's an update on portal visitors:

- Dominick Guidice (OL - Michigan) Dec. 14
- Kameron Olds (EDGE - Kent State) Dec. 14-15

- Kevin Gallic (LS - New Hampshire) Dec. 15
- Jaylen George (DL - East Tennessee State) Dec. 15
- Eric Rivers (WR - FIU) Dec. 15-16
- Marcos Davila (QB - Purdue) Dec. 15-16
- Isaiah World (OT - Nevada) Dec. 16-17
- Jack McCalister (P - Washington) Dec. 17
- Gabriel Moore (DT - Mississippi St.) Dec. 18
- Andrew Marshall (CB - Idaho) Dec. 18-19

- Fa'alili Fa'amoe (OT - Washington State) Dec. 18-19
- Samuel M'Pemba (EDGE - Georgia) Dec. 19-20
- Mar'Quavious Moss (CB - West Georgia) Dec. 19-20

- Nyziah Hunter (WR - Cal) Dec. 19-20
- DJ Warner (EDGE - Kansas) Dec. 19-20
- Keagan Trost (OL - Wake) Dec. 19-20

- Chris Murray (DL - Sam Houston State) Dec. 20-21
- Adrian Maddox (S - UAB) Dec. 20-21
- Justyn Rhett (S - Georgia) Dec. 20-21
- Dane Key (WR - Kentucky) Dec. 20-21
- Dasan McCullough (LB - Oklahoma) Dec. 20-21

- AJ Pena (EDGE - Rhode Island)

There's more than that I think, but right now these are the ones I know of for sure.

Players in Bold have committed to Nerbaska... you'll noticed I deleted Woselok off the list, his visit was cancelled. Eric Rivers committed to Georgia Tech earlier this evening. Nebraska likes where they stand with Hunter and Key and would take both if they could get them.

I'm still efforting to find out when Trost and Pena are visiting. I've seen they are visiting but do not have specific dates. I may be missing a few.

Other rumblings... There are rumblings that Patrick Peyton (former Husker commit from a few years ago) will be transferring from FSU (he is already in the portal) and that Nebraska is a major player and could get him even without a visit. Will be something to keep an eye on.

Gabe Moore commits to Nebraska.

Nebraska going with potential over production currently. He redshirted in 2023 and played sparingly in 2024. Would have 3 seasons left.

check that... he has a medical redshirt from 2024 so he has 4 seasons left.

Supposedly we have a Linebacker that's basically ready to commit... but maybe hasn't even entered the portal yet. Will be interesting to follow.

And Cal lost their bowl game.

They didn't look organized on offense. I guess that could partially be the reason why.

they were on their 4th string QB as well, don't think Hunter is the only reason why but missing him didn't help.

Yeah they screwed themselves putting that guy in. They'd promised him playing time during the bowl and that's why he went in.

I assume they were worried about him hitting the portal so promised him playing time.
After his crappy performance I'd say they made a bad decision.

the guy that started got hurt during the game so they couldn't go back to him
