Looking like I might need to break out the hard stuff at 4 pm

If you were blown out by a 6 win team less than a month ago, you don't belong
What about it you lose at home to a 5 loss team who can't complete a forward pass and has the 130th ranked offense in college football?

Knew it was gonna be a long game when the SMU QB decided to try a long pass on 4th and short when he could have walked for a first down. Had no idea that would be only like the 4th worst mistake of the half.

But I like seeing would be cinderellas getting out in their place early

My only beef with this is we would see the same old teams in the playoff. Now, I am not saying that they don't deserve it. With it being 34 teams, how many would be in the playoff?
I'd guess it would be the top four from both the B1G and the SEC.

B1G #1 vs SEC #4
B1G #2 vs SEC #3
B1G #3 vs SEC #2
B1G #4 vs SEC #1

This year I guess it would have looked like
Oregon (9-0) vs One of the five 5-3 teams
Penn State (8-1) vs Tennessee (6-2)
Indiana (8-1) vs Georgia (6-2)
Ohio State (7-2) vs Texas (7-1)

And I don’t know what y’all were expecting in the first round. Closest spread was ND -7. These teams all had two weeks to prepare, talent is gonna win out most of the time when both teams have something to play for

Bad loss but not even close to being the same situation as a whole

I'm not going to argue with you for 10 pages lol

None of them belong, but Bama was least deserving of the SEC 3 loss teams(other than Missouri)

SCar had a legitimate gripe about the refs in the LSU game, and Ole Miss is the only one of the three that didn’t have a blowout loss

Git in the end zone already

Not to mention we’ve seen several blowouts in the playoffs when it was just 4. This isn’t about which teams are in it. This is college football.

The 12th best team in the country is never gonna look ideal....thus why they're not top 5. I feel like many forget this when doing their analysis.

They're gonna have lost, multiple times. They're gonna have struggled. They're gonna have looked ugly at certain points.
