Teams can schedule OOC games at neutral sites. They can opt for the venue/network that will provide the biggest payout, as these games are negotiated separately from the conference network agreements. Money received from playing in these games does not go to the conference, but directly to the teams.

Where was the Sept 11, 2021 Oregon/Ohio St game played and why?
Who was the home team and why?
Who carried the broadcast and why?
Why do you refuse to answer those simple questions? I know why.
Because it wasn't a neutral site game, it was the 2nd part of a home-and-home leg played in Columbus and fell under under Big 10 and their media rights contract. Your statement that Oregon and Ohio St could "easily tell the networks that they will use a neutral site and put up the game for bid." was stupid and wrong.
But you can't accept being wrong. You're being slapped around in two other threads here today by two other posters due to your continued stupidity.
