Curious how the CFP would handle this

Teams can schedule OOC games at neutral sites. They can opt for the venue/network that will provide the biggest payout, as these games are negotiated separately from the conference network agreements. Money received from playing in these games does not go to the conference, but directly to the teams.

This is indisputable, but I'm sure you will try to come up with some BS yet again.

Again I ask you.....

Where was the Sept 11, 2021 Oregon/Ohio St game played and why?
Who was the home team and why?
Who carried the broadcast and why?

Why do you refuse to answer those simple questions? I know why.

Because it wasn't a neutral site game, it was the 2nd part of a home-and-home leg played in Columbus and fell under under Big 10 and their media rights contract. Your statement that Oregon and Ohio St could "easily tell the networks that they will use a neutral site and put up the game for bid." was stupid and wrong.

But you can't accept being wrong. You're being slapped around in two other threads here today by two other posters due to your continued stupidity.

Oregon & Ohio State could easily cancel that game (the first one was never played) and play it at a neutral site. We saw UGA cancel a home and home with Oregon and schedule a neutral site with them fairly recently.

This is indisputable, except to Retard_Alert.

You're asking about a game that was played.

I'm telling you this exact scenario played out with UGA-Oregon.

A home and home was scheduled. The series was canceled and replaced with a neutral site game, which was negotiated separately from any conference agreements.

No one is claiming a game in Columbus wouldn't have B1G rights.

season 9 running in circles GIF

The game hadn't been played when you made your stupid statement that Oregon and Ohio St could.... "easily tell the networks that they will use a neutral site and put up the game for bid."

Exactly, the game hadn't been played yet. They could have canceled the series (no games had been played in it). Then scheduled a neutral site game.

This exact scenario played out with UGA-Oregon, and both programs profited from it.

LOL at thinking the massive rest was an advantage. Not one BYE team won, interesting how that worked
The Detroit Lions are the #1 in the NFC and have a bye week next week ... I think it is a huge advantage. Should we lose our first playoff game, it won't have anything to do with the bye-week. No complaints or excuses here, we have extra time to heal and prepare. The bye week is an advantage, we will take it ... Thank You Very Much!!!!

@OregonDucks care to weigh in on the bye week?
