tOfficial B1G Thread

Been there for two Nebraska games and multiple Chief's games. KC is a NFL town. Everything runs smooth for an NFL game.

Their service was terrible for both the CFB games. They didn't have traffic control on the interstates going into Arrowhead so traffic bottle necked and backed up for miles around Arrowhead. That was an August Kickoff Classic against Okie Jr.

In the Big 12 CCG Nebraska vs Oklahoma, it had snowed appx 10" the day before. They couldn't be bothered with removal of the snow inside the stadium. We had to brush off or seats and stood in ankle deep snow the entire game.

Wow lol. Thats absurd
Was at that Big 12 Championship game, it was miserably cold and that snow still in stands was ridiculous

Presumably the BigXII could have ensured it was taken care of, either contractually, or by finding their own people, but chose not to.

A rare misstep for a conference with golden leadership akin to the PAC-12.

Says the coach who hails from a program that had this guy as a fan.

Not to mention....

Yes

We were layered up so it wasn't a big deal for us, but there were peeps that weren't prepared for the occasion.
Still had a good time partying with the OU fans back at the hotel after.

There's a decent chance the first ever 12 team playoff could come down to 2 B1G teams in the finals. Crazy.

It’s an interesting discussion to have with the committee
Everyone wanted big playoffs. They all knew at some point even the 12th ranked team could win it and be crowned champs. That's what tournaments to decide champions do.

There is no adjustments to be had. This is what they wanted.

I'll just leave this here and grab some popcorn.

This is a man who once, after practice, stepped over a player who was having a convulsion. Didn't stop to see if he was ok. Didn't even hesitate.

He may or may not be right, but he damned sure isn't the one to be saying anything about psychotic obsession and needing therapy.

In 2010 the Oakland Raiders went 6-0 in their division. They swept the Chiefs, Broncos, and Chargers. They did not make the playoffs. Playoff rules don't ignore every other game bc of a H2H earlier in the regular season.

I'm okay with that. All year I thought the B1G was over-rated, etc. Sheesh, joke is on me. Not only are they not over-rated this year, they were severely under-rated as a conference. Not just the top 4 teams either, but deep into the middle, those teams have shown up, played well and won (Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, USC and Nebraska) or been a tough out in defeat (Iowa, Rutgers and Washington). My hat is off to the B1G in 2024!

Yikes. Didn't see that Davis Warren tore an ACL in their bowl vs Bama.

Tough titty

It means nothing.

other than it got y'all in the playoffs, only to get beat 1st game by one of those teams. It's called the post season, which means it's after the regular season. Regular season is over and in post season the regular season doesn't mean shit. I know you duck fans are newbies to this, but this is the way it works. In simpler terms, the regular season is fucking nothing.

OD is the only one who doesn't get it.
