Wicked Windy Wednesday

I know everyone has been waiting on an update, but my truck did remote start this morning and it was colder than yesterday. So can confirm it's the stupid sequence I have to do when getting out of my truck the night before.
I'm so happy for you, Ford!

I’m hoping my car starts. It’s about -6 right now
Word. I'm having a new battery installed as I type this. It's been slow starting in the cold and on Christmas Eve, I left the headlights on when I ran into the mall and when I came out it was dead.

Fortunately, I have one of those Halo jump starter batteries and it worked like a fucking champ. Highly recommend.

I saw Wicked over the holiday break...it was good.
I wouldn't mind seeing it, but it's probably going to wait until it's streaming on something.

Crazy how that broad in it is significantly more attractive when she's made up like a green witch than in real life. Nuts!

Haha very true

Didn't realize the bull-ringed-baldy was the same girl as in the movies. I thought she was the broadway actress or something.

And it is on streaming now, but still the high price. I think $20 to rent and $30 to buy.

Yep. Don't get me wrong, I don't think she's attractive as the green witch, but in real life she's just nasty.

I meant streaming for free - or streaming on something that I already pay for, rather.

My wife and older daughter already saw it, so it's not something I feel like I need to pay extra to see.

My wife has read the books and seen the play probably a half dozen times. I avoided all of it, so went into it having no idea what the premise was other than the origin story of Wizard of Oz.

It was pretty good. She really liked how it was done.

She has said that the books are MUCH darker, and everyone who sees it with their kids shouldn't read the books with the kids.
I read Wicked back in college but I don't remember much about it outside of the talking animals. I think I may read it again this year.

According to her it is very dark and disturbing, not lighthearted and cutesy like the movie.

Also keep in mind this is just part 1. Part 2 comes out later in 2025.

having hair makes a big difference to me.

Also, not having all kinds of shit hanging from her face nor exposing her pancake titties.

The wife and I got to see the play in London probably around when it first came out.

The star performers were much more attractive and just as talented as those in the movie.

hoping my noon meeting ends early enough that I can go get lunch from the caf. I really hate noon meetings.

People who book meetings over lunch and don't provide lunch need to be fired. I've said as much in lunch meetings where lunch isn't provided.

Really makes people second guess if a meeting is REALLY that important. 99% of the time it isn't.

this is every Wednesday...it's the worst. What's funny is the guy who runs the meeting is 400+lbs.

usually I bring my own lunch, but I didn't prep properly before the snow storm so I didn't have any lunchmeat for a sandwich.
