2024 Natty discussion: tOSU vs ND

POTUS Inauguration Day/MLK Day/NFL playoffs 'this weekend', likely taking some mainstream media exposure away from this game for some.

However, as @Voltaire said, if someone doesn't care about it then you're not really much of a CFB fan. Two bluebloods looking to add another Natty to their resume? Come on.

Expectations here in rural Nebraska are enough that I got a group text this morning from the guy that heads our pool league team regarding team members thoughts on moving our scheduled match from Monday night to Thursday night. That's even though my local rural dive bar (we're at home home this week) is a sports bar with 5 big screen tvs. There's not a seat in the place without a view of at least one tv.
All 5 of us from our team are ok with (even in favor of) moving it and he is checking with our opponent (small town about 20 miles away) to see if they're ok with moving the match too. One team member even replied "Football party at my workshop".
His workshop literally has a living room w/bar in it that can seat 15 people comfortably. A true man cave. LOL

We could fix all of this if the powers that be would let us.

Having the championship game in the middle of the NFL playoffs on a federal holiday that is also the day the new POTUS is being sworn in may be one of the dumbest things the CFP has ever done.
We know they aren't going to return to less than 12 games in a season. Sooooooooo, they need to start the season earlier.

Which they kinda already have with the number of week 0 games. Just need to have everyone start that week (or take their first bye).

That would be great - the rivalry games would be the week before Thanksgiving. That would make sure the students are actually on campus.
