welp there goes our quality win come labor day weekend.. I'll just have to listen and read tagged tweets how we are playing trash reigning champions again...
You know, all the good players gone.. coordinators gone.. well maybe ppl will view it as a good win since Day is still there?

How did you lose to a bunch of walk ons??I don't expect us to win the national title again but we will at least make the playoff. This isn't a Michigan situation with a walk-on QB/Orji and shit WRs rolling out there.
Ohio St’s rebuild is a 9-10 win season unlike that other team that won a tainted title. Expectations will still be extremely high.welp there goes our quality win come labor day weekend.. I'll just have to listen and read tagged tweets how we are playing trash reigning champions again...

That being said, it’s all going to depend on how good Sayin is..it will be his first career start.
Do good offense/defense coordinators ever stay? A team like ohio state will attract respectable replacement.I expected Chip would only be around a year or two anyways. Day needs to get a real OC though. I'd hate to seem him make some meh hire whos only the "Offensive Coordinator" in title only with Day really making most of the play calls again.
Exactly. Nick Saban had 7 OC's in 16 years at Alabama.Let's look back a few years ... I may be off on some of this as I don't follow all these teams closely:
2019 LSU - lost the OC and DC left, plus Brady.
2020 Bama - lost OC Sark, RB, ST, CB, and OL coaches.
2021 UGA - lost DC Lanning, OL coach, kept OC and most everyone else
2022 UGA - lost OC, and misc other position coaches.
2023 UM - lost everyone
2024 tOSU - lost DC and OC, will lose a lot of others
The point is that this isn't unusual. The coordinators and position coaches have hit the highest point they can, other than repeating, and they are going to be in demand.
Probably not, they don't want to lose to Michigan. We got a P5 HC to come here as OC last year. Wonder if Day calls Lane or Lincoln to come to Columbus for next season?
