Love em. They were in that late 80’s/early 90’s era and was iffy on which decade I’d most strongly associate em with. Seen em multiple times and the bass player’s nephew was in my graduating class in high school. We were friends in school, but lost touch after graduation

But this thread is the first time I’ve encountered people that actually like U2. I was thinking and hoping U2 fans didn’t actually exist
 
I've never seen U2 live and I'm not sure I would, but that's just because I feel like they're more of a studio band. I do think they have a fair number of awesome tunes though, and their album Achtung Baby is fucking great.

Funny thing is U2 is always going on about being an Irish band, but most people in Ireland think Bono is a cunt.

I’m a big U2 fan, saw them live for the first time in 2017 and… it was rough.
