Hobby Lobby is Joann's on steroids. We just got a new one where the old two-story Bed Bath & Beyond was, but I haven't ventured in yet. The other nearest one was in Morgan Hill, where the old Mervyn's used to be. HL ain't messing around when it comes to square footage.

Dumb bitch asked if the boss could do an open forum about a month ago, gave me a date but not the time. I said maybe, but nail it down quickly because the time on his calendar goes away even quicker and I can't hold a spot for a month. Fast forward to today and she's like, "Oh, can he do that open forum? (And note that it would be the 10th and not the 11th, as originally requested)". So i'm like - probably not. He's booked all day on the 11th, but I'll see if I can give you an hour at 8am.
Little back & forth because I'm not giving her more than an hour and then she says, "Do I need to work the ask through the chief of staff or directly with your boss?"

I finally returned the shoes I bought, but also had to exchange something (clothing). I let them know I bought it in PA so even though it's an even exchange, it might do something stupid in their system. Sure as shit, the register tried to charge me the tax. So I said, "That's fine. I'll just return it instead." She called the manager over, then beboobopped some numbers in their math machines, but couldn't get it to do it exactly right (by reducing the price), so they got as close as they could and refunded me the change. Take THAT, Gavin Poopface!!
