Pretty much echoes what you have been saying all year. Staff just isn't good enough given the talent.

Yep. Sadly there are still plenty of people crying that you "cant blame the coach" They love to ride the "we are a football school" excuse when it comes to the lazy hire and not even attempting to go after anyone else. Meanwhile like half of the fucking SEC is in the top 25. Ohio State isn't Duke or Kentucky by any means but we are at least a top 25 caliber program who should be able to attract at least decent coaching candidates.

A team with no late game mental fortitude or killer instinct is 100% reflection of the coach.

That blowout loss at home to NW will likely keep us out of the tourney unless they can manage to win 2 games in the B1G tourney (though they might get lucky and back in with 1 win) that loss alone shoulda gotta Diebler fired amongst everything else. At this point backing into the tourney means nothing though, this team shoulda been in and not praying for a B1G tourney miracle to get in.
 
Auburn and Alabama are "Football Schools" and they are both killing it, meanwhile we have fans using the "we are a football school" excuse for making a MAC level move with the Diebler hire.

Good point. With the resources that come from B1G and SEC media revenue, not one school in those two conferences has a legitimate excuse for not having top notch athletic programs. Even the so called "non football schools" should be good in everything with that kind of revenue.

Promoting a assistant of the failed coach you just fired is the laziest of lazy hires, they legit didn't even try to look at anyone else. That's just lazy incompetence by the athletic department. Of course people don't want to show up to go crazy for a beyond stale basketball program that you keep making staler with bad hires. No one is going to get enthused over the pushing of a extension of the former failed coach.

If this is correct, Nebraska is #12 seed with a win (playing either Northwestern or Rutgers) and out of conference tournament with a loss

Bradshaw is a fucking terrible basketball player. I get we need big guys but I hope we go after proven production there in the portal going forward instead of perceived potential.
 
Wish they'd fire Diebler now but they won't.

The program is at a very stale point and nobody is going to get enthused when it just seems like a continuation of Holtmann. They better fire Diebler after next season if we don't make the tournament without sweating it in March.
