Wasn't sure how I felt about this at first. Dudes only a couple years older than me and has only been a D1 coach for 2 years. But I trust Wren a ton and believe in him so it's just about trusting this guys the right fit. Hoping he brings some of those UNT players with him because I'm not sure we have a player that played this season left on the roster. Time will tell.

My guess is Baker is going after some loyalty here after what just happened AND… could have done much worse.

I mean business is business but he was at North Texas and now he gives him his big break into the upper tier ranks so.. maybe he’ll at least give him some heads up if he has success and a bigger/wealthier program decides to come get him 🤷‍♂️ which imo didn’t happen with DD.
I think Baker made a good hire last time so.. if it’s me.. I’d trust him to make another.
 
JT Toppin returning to Tech. Should be a top 10 at minimum next year.

Scuttlebutt out of Lubbock is Toppin is getting north of 3 million.

Schools getting ahead of the July 1 settlement date. I have a feeling those limitations will be challenged in court very quickly.
