Last preseason practice before we start our season next Tuesday. Otherwise I would have considered making the trip.

Brewers open the season in Yankee Stadium. It'll be interesting to see how that series plays out.

Two of the Brewers' projected starting pitchers are still out with injury; I kinda expect them to give up a lot of runs through April. Although, I think they can score enough runs to get some wins in there, too.

I'm most excited to see how the Brewers young outfielders progress. I think this might be one of the best outfields in baseball defensively with some solid offense to go with it.

After a winter of short walks on the pavement, went on the first longer hike of the spring. Approximately 4 miles of deer trails. Paying for it today. Calves and back stiffer than hell. I'll live to do it again.

Now that Tank's at least able to keep a bike upright, we might start riding some trails again. The county extended the trail by our house, so now we can avoid riding along a couple of streets and just get on the trail and go. Doubt we'll do the 6+miles one way we could do with him in the trailer, but it will be good to get him used to going a mile or two.

Go...White Sox?

Thoughts and prayers, buddy.

My son's tee ball team will be the White Sox again this season though, so I appreciate the support.
I live right by the park and found their marketing interesting considering last season

Thanks to Jerry Reinsdorf, they have mushroom stamped into history alright. One of the last teams to still not issue a $100MM contract to a player.

morning all, talked to buddy about open position in his company. Few months ago I'd never have considered leaving current job, but current climate isn't good for my job

They're off to a good start, but they really need to commit to the bit if they want to really make an impact. Phillies had a run of 30 of 31 losing seasons, including 4 of 5 years where they won 30% or less of their games. One historically bad season is rookie numbers.

nats have some bats.
they seem to at least be building something...I never feel like the Marlins are, they just luck themselves into a winning season

03 was definitely around pitching. They did spend 1 year but it was a failure. Not sure why they let the prior GM go, but this new one from Tampa is gutting the club.

they should have held on to Jose Fernandez
