I guess that the law suits between T&M and HBO and Paramount have been settled? T&M really shot themselves in the foot with their streaming deals, but it looks like that is in the past now.

I actually haven’t watched much of the Simpsons at all. It debuted when I was in 7th or 8th grade, so I watched it off and on for the first 5 years or so, but once I went to college I stopped watching and never picked it back up. SP debuted, I think, in my 3rd year of college, and I don’t think I have missed a first run episode yet. And SP is still riding the edge with every episode.

Last I saw it was still ongoing. In fact, I think the last thing I read was a month or so back saying it was going to proceed to trial.
I think this new season is just filling contractual obligations, which is why all the most recent new seasons on Comedy Central have only been like 6 episodes.
