this is the sweet part.. he really isn't worth that amount and nobody was going to pay him what he was getting a year ago from ou.. but ou had to do this because it was making them look really bad..

David Stone is going to have to prove his worth this year. He was the prized get in his class but his team mate from IMG Jayden Jackson has surpassed him in every way. Hopefully Stone can start to make all that God given talent work for him.

yeah if he wants to make what he's making, he has to emerge this season.. And despite what some of your crazier fans say... he doesn't have to be JJ this season. He just has to do much better than a season ago, with snaps, and seeing him in there in crucial downs during crunch time. Players take time to develop.

I think most thought that Jackson was already set up to make noise and Stone would need some more polishing.

Staff felt he wasn’t ‘all in’.

Bet he will be now.

Many do. But nowadays it seems that very often a team can invest in their development but never benefit from it. At least for non P2 teams.

If a Northern Illinois has a kid that blooms after two years in their program the biggies will swoop in and make him an offer he can’t refuse!

There isn't a weakness really. As long as KMac has continued his conditioning we're gonna be fine. I think Malone/Moore will get some backup snaps, and they're also really talking up Trajen Odom so far, so I could see him get some PT.

Yeah, the power shift is starting to happen. Nico was a watershed moment. As soon as the RevShare gets here July 1, the contracts the players are going to have to sign are going to be detailed and are going to drive balance. They will be muulti-year contracts, and they players will have to pay a buyout to transfer before the end of their term with the school.

that's a good pickup for sure.. too bad Arch is going to break his ankles in the first qtr.. but he should heal up and be ready for conference play :)
