Set it up. I will bring the popcorn.

And watch all 1000 die.
1000 people pushing back at once has a lot more stopping power than you think. I don’t know if they could stop a tank, but I’d bet they could.

This isn’t voltron. You don’t combine into one big superhuman.
The gorilla IS the one big superhuman
Are you even paying attention? Humans have the ability to charge in formation.

Well I'm assuming enough crushed remains has the potential to high center the thing.

And the gorilla with an insane grip strength, wingspan, and 9x the strength will flick each off like a scarf.

The humans don’t combine into a Voltron
They will be easily flung off like a scarf.

Humans have only ascended to the top of the food chain because of our brains and ability to create tools/weapons. Without those there are many animals that would annihilate us.

They don't have to turn into voltron. The second row would ram into the first row. The third row would ram into the second row, etc.

I'm pretty sure that gorillas know how to take on an attacking pack of adversaries. You are saying that those that are already dead would create a barrier so you could crush the gorilla and immobilize him. But unlike the tank in an example above, the gorilla is nimble and can move omni-directional and also has the dexterity to move things that are in its way unlike a tank.

The same human brains you were talking about above would help with a strategy to overwhelm the gorilla. If you idiotically attacked it a couple at a time then yes it would probably win. That's why the humans would need to overwhelm it and would have the mass and numbers to do so.

Look, all I need to know about whether or not 100 humans can take down a gorilla is that I am a human and not a gorilla. If one gorilla could take down 100 humans at once, we'd be the ones in zoos.

which is why i propose we stop all Alzheimer's research now.

But the use of tools/weapons. Gorillas are smart enough to know not to attack us because we have been known to shoot them. As soon as they learn how to clean a rifle, we're toast.

There isn't a way that I can see where 100 men are able to overwhelm a gorilla. Even if they all hit at once from the same side, or from all different sides. There simply isn't enough strength in 100 men to overpower a gorilla. You could get some hits on him, but what damage will that do? I guess you could try to go for the eyes, but good luck once you get one of his eyes and his adrenaline kicks in.
